I graduated with honors but felt the degree did not benefit me. My overall rating would be 2/5. Careers services were not very helpful. The instructors and professors were average. The school offered many internships for career advancement. There wasn't much to do at the school.

Rating 2 out of 5 The graduate FNP program is propped up by the educators at Edinboro University. A noticable divide in the educational value of the courses is seen. Self education is an important aspect of the online learning course work. What they don't tell you is that you yourself will have to review every book and HOPE that you have retained the correct information to pass board certification. If you plan push through this endeavor with help from professors, you will be sorely mistaken about... Read More

Clarion University's COBAIS provides a great small school experience. Every class I had my professor knew my name, and always would offer help if I was struggling. While I had only one academic advisor, I felt comfortable in meeting with any of my professors to discuss my educational, professional, and life goals. I would highly recommend the International Business seminar they offer. I found this 2 week study abroad to be the most valuable part of my college career

Edinboro is a beautiful and snowy campus that is successful in its ability to educate and prepare students. The campus in considered a budget friendly option especially considering the private options in institutions close by. The campus is continually involving its facilities and the staff although sometimes rough around the edges are amazing and incredibly smart individuals.

Clarion University has a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful professors that truly want you to succeed. Compared to people I know who went to large universities where they were only a number to their professor, I greatly appreciated being personally known by every professor I had. I felt it motivated me to do well, and I could better succeed in my classes. However, due to it being a smaller university, there were not always the resources I would have appreciated. I wanted to minor Spanish and this... Read More

Edinboro has a great design program for those who want to be fiscally conscious and are not able to go the art school route. Though it is a smaller school that is not located in any major city, the professors will go above and beyond to help their students succeed and get their work out. They will do their best to make sure that their students have the adequate supplies and resources to produce their best work and to have portfolios to be proud of and get jobs with after graduating.

Clarion University had an excellent undergraduate degree program for Library and Information Sciences. I was able to earn my BSEd in Library Science, K-12; a certification in Secondary English, 7-12; and participate in the Honors Program - and I graduated a semester early even with all of these things. The Honors program was rigorous without being too taxing, and it provided many opportunities for scholarships, networking, and advancement. The Library Science program had excellent professors while... Read More

Having attended four schools to complete my degree, Clarion stood out as the top. I am more than pleased with not only the education but the experience. Online learning has unique challenges and Clarion does a great job at meeting those challenges head on.

I took the online classes and I thought that they were great. The teachers were helpful although it may have been easier to meet face to face rather than a phone call or email but they were great. All the materials and class work were thoroughly explained.

I loved my college. It wasn't that far away that I was able to come home whenever it was needed, but I was far away enough to be independent. It was small and had the field in which I wanted to study.

I was able to take a few GIS classes, which was extremely helpful for graduate school. However, as someone who wants to study weather (meteorology), there were not many atmospheric science classes. Clarion was definitely more geology oriented.

I studied for 3 years at Clarion. All the staff, the professors, and students were nothing but supportive. There are tons of tutoring programs, lots of office hours, and plenty of helpful people all around. Clarion is in a small town in North Western PA but, it's a great school. My professors were all engaged and more than willing to help me.
