I have to say I was impressed with the level of engagement for the program. I transferred from a state program in the same field and feel I learned more at Purdue. It is a online program. It does seem to be a bit mor costlier, but when compared to other schools around the nation it seems to be in the ball park as far the cost per course. I was a student at NAU for about three years. I went to college part time and work full time. I did feel that the college was expensive but all schools are. I felt that admissions was great, E. was very helpful. Financial assistant A. was a blast to work with and she always try to keep me in line almost the whole three years. She always emailed, or called me to get it done on time. A. left about a year before I graduate it kind of went down hill. I had to come out of pocket because my paper work... Read More was late. Then K. told me I could make payments never called me back and got stuck with a huge bill to pay or no diploma. A. was AWESOME SHE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN ALL SHE DOES!!! So I rate financial aid a 8.5 at the Austin campus. Oh, and veterans stuff was on point I always got my monthly stipend every month. I took the health info tech degree, might of been a bad choice for this area of Austin, but Houston and Dallas have more jobs to offer. However, it depends if you want to relocate if your central, but Austin definitely does not have the jobs for this degree, and the jobs they offer they want at least 1-5 yrs experience so be careful if you go this route. Educators or professors were great, I only had trouble with one class out of the many I took. I had a 98 average had to get three )`s because AHIMA didn`t work and contacted many people and nobody could help so I ended up with an 87 and another class an 89. Advice for Professors without offended anybody, if a student is having trouble with assignments have them do an alternate assignment so they don`t take unfortunate 0`s for links they cannot retrieve and you cannot help them with. I wanted to do an essay or something of that nature so I didn't take those zeros or effect my GPA, that`s what I would have done if I was an online professor. However, all the other professors were helpful for me. This college you have to follow the rules and put in the work. I have seen many students come and go, some students are very lazy so I am sure their grades reflected that. I know when I did get lazy my grade showed and my professors gave me a wake-up call, which is exactly what I needed throughout the program. I know also through the HIT program that two classes was nothing but essays, I disagree with that, a better class lay out could have been better. I walk away with 98 and 96 respectively but essays get old when your not take an English class. I felt that majority 99% professors were fair across the board. The Composition II professor was great, that was a hard class (73). Most students fail out of that class, so to say professors are not qualified is crazy. This college is very challenging, depending on the courses or degree you are taking or going for. I wanted a challenge and I got that with this degree program. This degree program is very difficult, trust me. On the mock exam practicum only like three classmates passed, so think hard about this program before starting it, most do not make it through. Overall my experience was what I made of it. NAU was not that bad, but it seems to me it is about individuals and that specific location. North Austin was great for the most part, and Brittanei and Racheal are always helpful at the front desk. Oh man, I forgot about Steve the IT guy, he just left but he was very helpful to me also. The academic deans were great and helpful too; Dr. P., and Dr. W. respectively.

I would like to start off by saying this has been an amazing experience for me. I wish I would have known about this school before I enrolled in University of Phoenix. I would have saved myself from wasting money & my valuable time. Needless to say, I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a good school & where you won't get looked down on when you apply for jobs and other schools. This school is not passing out A's to anyone, you have to put in hard work to get a good grade.... Read More In my last set of classes they changed all text books to e-books which I think is great. I am now in the process of looking for another school, but I am proud to let other schools know that I graduated from a community college and my school ranked in the top 10 schools list. When talking to my adviser or financial aid worker they were always professional and got back to me in a timely manner. I would have someone call me every week to see how class is going etc.. Bottom line is that I had a great experience a lot of my classes are transferable to top Universities. It's hard to find a (no-profit)community college that has a full degree online.

The impact in earning my college degree had affected my life tremendously. It has made my home life hectic but it has made my career easier as a Quality Technician and Audits. The experience that I have had at Post so far has been good and bad. The bad side is I had an instructor that wasn’t that great in Module 1 and I failed participating to my full benefit because of the misguided direction in the course. The other bad experience is being accused of plagiarism when I wrote a story about my own... Read More personal life experience. I originally wrote the story in 2004 and someone had published a similar story on a website in 2009 yet I received a zero. It was upsetting, discouraging and humiliating. I got over it and went on and was thankful that I was not expelled from the class. The professor had every right to dismiss me and she didn’t. I thank her tremendously. The overall experience at Post has been excellent. My success coach is great, my financial advisor is great, and my instructors moving forward have been great. I couldn’t have picked a better university from the experience I have received from Post. I hope it continues to go down this positive road. I recommend Post most definitely.

The instructors for medical assisting was nice and helpful. The school is unstructured and unprofessional. The students do not follow the dress code, and the staff do not always remind the students about the dress code. The students do not always wear their student ID. The student ID is part of the dress code, and for security to verify that the students are in fact students. I would not recommend the school to anyone. I attended DSC as part of the duel enrollment program my high school offered. I was enrolled full time for 2 semesters, and part time for 3. I was able to graduate high school with an AA degree (60 credits). All my classes counted towards my bachelor's degree when I transferred to a Florida university post graduation. I think DSC it the best educational establishment in the Daytona area, however there aren't many options here anyway. Professors generally cared about student outcomes however the quality... Read More of instruction could be very mixed. Compared to a typical university the class sizes at DSC are small which is a definite plus. My anatomy and physiology class had 18 students, compared with the 100+ class size for a similar course at a university. Tuition at DSC for a full semester is about $3,000, about half the price of public university tuition. DSC should certainly be considered for people in the area that want to go to a university but don't have the money or the high school performance needed to go right away. DSC also offers many vocational/skill based job training programs for much cheaper than schools like Kaiser. DSC probably has better instruction anyway. Also, don't buy books from the bookstore, they're cheaper online or from a classmate
