The Education PhD Program through Walden U was a poor choice. After getting through all of the courses and into the dissertation process, I completed a form requesting a specific professor to be my chair; the professor also informed me they wanted me as their student. Rigorous program, but still flexible on time! I completed 1L (first year) at Concord Law School and just began my 2L year. I work full time and a single parent of 2 children 50% of the time. Attending an ABA school is not possible for me because of my work and personal schedule not to mention ABA schools are cost prohibitive for someone who is older. I didn't go back to school for 12 years after earning my associate's degree. I'm grateful that Mr. Andino pushed me to accomplish this. I am currently in BMAL 888, with the Research Proposal defense scheduled for tomorrow morning. This has been a great deal of work, academically rigorous, and very time-consuming. The research Chair and Methodologist seem to be sadists as they seem to zero in on every mistake, inconsistency, or variation from the template, such as APA 7 headings placement/format. I saw one person say they were in the same DRP course several times. I understand your frustration. You can ask for another Chair or methodologist, as the ones you have may not be a good fit for your project/style of feedback needs. Luckily, I understand what these two expect and have progressed quickly. I spend an inordinate amount of time in my home office reading articles, writing notes, looking up references, and typing this research proposal. I am currently at 191 pages without references or appendices.
I can tell you that any doctoral degree is worth more than not having one. Many will hate a Christian University simply because of its religious foundation, or think that an online degree is not worth the paper it is printed on compared to a brick-and-mortar university. I would challenge you to visit Lynchburg, VA, and see the actual brick-and-mortar campus for Liberty. American Military University is also a demanding school, even though it is online. It is harder to attain a degree online as you do not get any face time with your professor, no live interaction with other students, and you have to work on your education after work and the kids are asleep.

I’ve quite enjoyed Regis Colleges’ BSN-DNP program. It’s very well organized, and understandable. Everything had clear instructions, and the teachers gave good feedback. Definitely more organized and with it than the BSN program I attended. Their admissions team was really good to work with as well.

I am currently on my fifth course and it has been a great experience so far. My lecturers are accessible if I have any questions, also it has been very easy to get in touch with IT when I am having technical issues. I would recommend this program if you are motivated and can work independently for the most part.
