I am currently enrolled at UOP. I have been going there since August of 2013 and I must say now I actually do regret going here. Dont get me wrong they are somewhat helpful because they call you to check on you and your classes or whatever but wheb it comes to tuition and classes, NO! I recently didnt pass my class and because of that, I do not get any money back which is Uncalled for because they do not know what is going on in peoples lives. Its just a breeze when you first begin but once you really get into it, that is when they squeeze you for every dime you have - whether or not you have financial aid.

The school is an excellent choice if you do not have the availability of a vehicle. Through the online program you can complete all your studies from the comfort of your home while saving on driving time and gasoline cost. However, they advertise as highly flexible but this I would not say is true. You have weekly assignments to complete and depending on your schedule these may be difficult to complete on time which means your grades will be suffering from those which are turned in late. Each instructor... Read More is different about what they will and will not allow when it comes to assignments. Some are understanding and some not so much. Overall, I would say be prepared to read your little heart out because if you do not it is impossible to pass these classes.

Northern Essex Community College is a great college to start out in and complete your associates degree. The campus is well taken care of and quite equipped. There are many student resources, including but not limited to a great cafe, tutoring center, gym, track, science labs, outdoor seating, student store, etc. They even offer classes to students still in high school which I took my senior year of high school out of my high school. Id say the most difficult classes are the online/hybrid classes. Almost every professor is rated on rate my professor for more details on the classes. The scheduling is very flexible and for the most part if you register as soon as possible you can get any class you want. Don't always buy your text books right away, often times the professors have cheaper versions they allow you to have or do not require them at all. The college overall is one of the best community colleges around. The advisors are so friendly and helpful, they will certainly help you on your career path and make your time at NECC pleasant.

Lansing Community College is a great place to go before transferring. I will be transferring to pursue a BA in Illustration next year, and by going to LCC first, I have saved a great deal of time and money. LCC offers a wide range of art classes, from airbrush techniques to animation, which can really help an artist to experiment and know where their passions lie. It wasn't until I learned about LCC that I started thinking that I really might have what it takes to get a degree, and for that I am thankful.

When I graduated from high school, I was set on going to a big university or college. My parents insisted that I start at Pima College knowing that the transition would be a more affordable good option to getting my associates degree. At first, I was not happy about that decision, but I can't thank them more for their direction now that I've been at Pima College for the past three years. I have loved the smaller class sizes; and because of the smaller class sizes, the teachers were more accessible... Read More and able to give the students the attention necessary. I'm looking forward to attending the University of Arizona in the fall of 2018 but am thankful for the three years I've had at Pima.

I went to Salt Lake Community College to give my career path a jump start. I very much enjoyed going to a school where the campus is nice and works well with paying tuition with the STIL program. If they didn't have this option, I wouldn't be able to pay for college since I pay all out of pocket. I was a full time employee working a Wendy's from 5pm-3am everyday and had school in the morning. At the moment I am looking to proceed at SLCC even after I graduated to finish more prerequisites to be able to apply for the Ultrasound program they offer at the college. I know a lot of students might not dream of going to a community college(ok, none of us do,) but Weatherford College is an excellent place to get started. It has a very reasonable tuition(comparatively speaking, anyway, can you guys believe how much this stuff costs??) and some truly excellent teachers. Every teacher I have seems brilliant in their field, and the complaints I do have against certain teachers are small and practically inconsequential. Normally, this is not required at a community college, as community college professors haven't usually written their own books, but Weatherford Community College has more teachers with Doctorate degrees than I would ever have imagined. It is the only community college I have ever heard of who found need for a bylaw such as this one. There are a lot of new buildings on campus, and while the open areas may be less decorated than some larger colleges, there is interesting stuff to look at everywhere. One of my favorites is the Jurassic garden, completely made up of plants that have remained unchanged since the Jurassic period. Though a small feature on campus, it's a powerful one. I do have some complaints about the advisors, and have heard many such complaints from other students. Adam Finley is the only advisor worth talking to(unless you get to talk to the military advisor guy.) I repeat, DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO TALK TO ANY ADVISOR OTHER THAN Adam Finley!! I can't stress that enough. The two occasions I decided to see someone else out of convenience, a quick trip to Adam sorted out all of their idiocy. Basically, I love my community college, and am almost sad to be leaving it for a 4-year school in the near future. I'm sorry I have to have anything to criticize. (But really. Adam Finley. Refuse to speak with any other adviser. It is probably the best advice you've ever been given.) Include the 鈥渨hy鈥�: the best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a particular school, but also why. Feel free to talk about related schools and how the school in question compares to them. Be specific: your review should focus on specific features of the schools and your experiences with them. Be sincere: we welcome your honest opinion about the school鈥攑ositive or negative. We do not remove reviews simply because they are critical. We believe all helpful information can inform the decisions of prospective students.

CNM is a great school for students of all ages. This is my second degree. My first came from UNM. Compared to UNM, CNM is much more convenient, affordable and student friendly. Classes are smaller, parking is much easier, classes are affordable, and the staff is more accessible. I no longer feel like I'm just a tiny face in a huge ocean of other students in a huge auditorium type room. The staff genuinely care and want you to succeed. In clinicals, former graduates are much better employees than... Read More graduates from other schools. We hear it all the time from the charge nurses and their co-workers. CNM produces very competitive job candidates who are prepared and well rounded to start their new careers.
