I started at Capella in July of 2011, transferred from Devry - BEST decision I made during my college career. Mid-January of 2016 I started in the FlexPath Program - OUTSTANDING!! I often see people write disparaging remarks about their online education at Full Sail. I leave those people with this: You get what you put into it. If you utilize all the resources and network, you will have a fabulous learning experience at Full Sail. Once you graduate, you can return to audit courses so you stay current. Any concerns or issues I have had have always been addressed and resolved immediately, which is impressive in today's world that lacks customer service. I personally would tell anyone that if you have a passion for one of Full Sail's programs, and wish to progress at an accelerated speed, don't hesitate to enroll.

I'm shocked and disappointed to see the negative reviews here about Strayer. I selected this school because it is regionally accredited, the most prestigious accreditation a school can receive, so I feel confident in saying my education is legitimate. In my opinion, the key to success anywhere is communication. At Strayer there are so many people to reach out to if you need help or have a question, but like any school anywhere, sometimes its up to you to trouble shoot your own technical issues or... Read More communicate in a timely manner if need help. These are skills you need in the workforce and qualities perspective employers look for. I noticed a lot of the negative feedback here is regarding Financial Aid. I would caution prospective students to take this with a grain of salt. When you sign up for school pay attention to what you need for your financial aid, take it seriously, and don't just blow it off if you're asked to prove you are who you say or that what you put on your FAFSA is true. I've had to provide documentation for Financial Aid and yes its a little more work, but its not the school punishing you, just take your time and do it right things will go a lot more smoothly for you. As for the professors, yes some were outstanding and some were not very impressive, but this was true of my professors at the local state school I attended before coming to Strayer. At the end of the day, its up to you to submit good quality work, on time! Shocking I know! If Strayer were a "joke" as one comment stated, they would just pass out A's for you showing up. That is not the case its a real school and school is hard. If your expectation is anything less, you're mistaken. Personally I've had a great experience, and couldn't be more delighted to finally say I am a college graduate all thanks to Strayer! If you want a better job and better opportunities, you're not going to get there with out some effort keep that in mind prospective students and best of luck!

I am almost done, just 9 more classes to go to earn my BS Business degree and they had to change the classroom format!!! I was so confused with this new classroom tool. I'm getting the hang of it now, and realize even more that this tool was not thought through well. It is very confusing, not intuitive, and actually hinders productive communication for learning. Why did they get rid of the old classroom? It worked just fine. If they wanted to change the environment, they sure did a poor job of vetting... Read More new software.

The advisors are very helpful and the professors and instructors are very educated and interested to assist students. Attending Columbia Southern University was not my first time taking online classes, because I previously had taken classes at University of Phoenix. I did not like working in the group settings and potentially doing all the work while others took credit for work not done and getting a passing grade. I would definately recommend CSU to everyone looking for classes online. They were sometimes very challenging and yes you have to put in the time and effort if you want good grades. The instructors were great with getting back with you when having a problem. I may have had 2 professors I had to speak with my academic advisor about and the situation was fixed. Over all the courses were great and I would attend there again. They also had tutors to help in the different areas as needed. I was very impressed with my instructors and their willingness to help. I also stressed out myself in areas because I thought they had no help, but once I spoke with my advisor and she gave me the tools needed, I passed everything with flying colors. I graduated with high honors with a 4.0 and Summa Cum Laude. I will actually walk in 2015 because I wanted to walk down the isle with honors.

Colorado Technical University Online (CTU) has completely changed my life. I am a single mother of two children, one boy and one girl. My daughter is disabled and has an abundance of medical issues.
