UOPX has been great from enrollment to The professors, the counselors, and financial specialist. I experienced a death two months into school and everyone was so supportive. I truly appreciate UOPX I was able to push through due to kindness. Thank you

The format was the same for every single course which made it hard to stay engaged at times. There's not much of a sense of a classroom environment since you only have class once a week for an hour. Outside of that, the learning materials are very limited. With the technology we have, I expected there to be pre-recorded lectures on high yield topics but there wasn't anything like it. Overall, I didn't feel very pushed by the material nor were the quality of the academics worth what tuition costs.... Read More

This is my second experience studying in the United States. The first was in-person at a local for-profit university in my area. I stuck it out for a few classes and left as it was a terrible experience. Fast-forward to my experience at Purdue University Global. I was apprehensive when I started. However, the idea of being able to study without adding commute time to my day and having classes in the evening was a big draw. The class structure and professors soon put me at ease; the classes were well... Read More

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my time at Ashworth College. Any questions I had was answered by my instructors via email and phone calls. Academic advising was also a major help. Thank you to all the staff members there who really took time to answer my questions. I got my Bachelors in psychology and am now Enrolled at Capella University for my Masters. ALL my credits transferred. I wish they had a Masters program in what Im pursuing.

South University is the one of the absolute worst higher education institutions in America. From enrollment to graduation, I had nothing but problems with them. These issues were with office staff, primarily financial advisor, and some "professors". The majority of the online professors were very good, but had no real standard. By that I mean, at one point I was told by a professor that I was doing too much in my work, and did not need to be so thorough. This was evident in just about every class... Read More

This was a fantastic program! The online format was very well rehearsed and was implemented flawlessly. The instructors were very knowledgeable and accessible. I was most impressed with how prepared I was once starting graduate school. All the right courses were included leading to a very easy transition. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend, particularly if brick and mortar has not worked in the past or is inaccessible.

Ali Bozarth, Graduated 2017

I think the biggest issue with this school is that they admit students who are not capable of succeeding in an online environment. I have attended UNLV and UNR in the past. I only settled on GCU because I now live 100 miles away from the closest college to me. The only difference from a traditional class is the professors do not lecture very much. They serve a purpose more akin to a moderator, albeit a very knowledgeable one. It isn't for everyone. I can grasp a concept well after reading a textbook... Read More

From the first call all the way up to now, my experience with my student advisor team was absolutely amazing. They checked up on me regularly to see if I needed any help and were always available to answer questions. They were so warm and welcoming and really made me feel like I was part of the family. Even after I graduated they were happy to answer any questions and provide their services. I really felt that was the best first and last impression I could have ever gotten. I also found the curriculum... Read More

There is a lot going on around campus. There are always events and activities in the area or even on campus. There is a vast sense of community and family. However, in the surrounding area there are some poor and crime filled neighborhoods. ODU does the best they can to upkeep the safety of students but it is still difficult. Most students live off campus, so using the buddy system of catching a ride is the best way to and from classes.

I am finishing my last semester with CalSouthern, and in all, I will have done my entire BA in Psychology in about 3 1/2 years. I chose this school because I was a stay at home mom who needed to be able to still do all my domestic goddess duties and taxi-service for our 4 kids AND finish my degree. Driving to a school, parking, sitting somewhere else for hours, figuring out (and paying for) child care and taxi-ing for 4 kids, then coming home to do homework while paying obscene amounts of money for... This college is the same as every other. They're not going to give you credit for classes you've taken. Especially for general education this frustrates me. IT'S GENERAL EDUCATION your classes are not special or superior. But hey I guess colleges all have to stick together on one point, ripping students off.

The admissions specialists are very efficient and knowledgeable and FRIENDLY!!! I highly recommend this school.

I started Ashford in 2009 and received my Bachelor's in Behavioral Science in 2013. I must say Attending this University was not a walk in the park. However it was a great journey for me; I am now attended Ashford for the second time to receive my MPA )Masters of Public Administration. I am looking forward to achieving my goals that were set.

I received an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Axia in November 2011 and I just received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix this month. I was able to complete the entire program in just over 3 years....which was great and saved time. They also gave me credit for my military service and helped me with my GI Bill. Academic and financial counselors change often but it doesn't really matter. They all have access to the same information. The only real negative I can add is that tuition and fees are high but no more than a state university. Between my GI Bill, Pell Grants, and MyCaa, I actually got paid to go to school. So how bad can it be?!

University of Phoenix empowered me to complete my education while continuing to work full time and support my family. The coursework was challenging but the busy work typically associated with schoolwork was eliminated which meant I was able to focus more on course content and less on doing work simply to do work. I was also able to use my current and past work history to draw conclusions about questions and discussion in my courses which helped make my studies part of my everyday life.

In General, I feel that my college experience has been beneficial for my overall life in both a personal and professional way. I have learned new ways of viewing situations and gained skills that have aided my understanding of others and the world. After graduating, the job market is quite difficult without a degree and many places don't even care what the degree is in as long as you have one. Being at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee was a memorable one. I learned a lot about myself, all while really enjoying all that the city and the university had to offer.
