The school was just right for me because I was looking specifically for a school that I could do online only and everything that school has is entirely online. I completed my bachelor's degree entirely online and now am working on my master's program. The other reason I specifically chose this school is because they offer unique majors like the Intelligence Analysis program that I am currently taking courses in. This will prepare me to be a Intelligence Analyst for the FBI, CIA, DoD, or any of the... Read More

Able to interact with students and teachers from all walks of life. Student advisors are always eager to help as are the librarians. I now have many life-long friends. Am not sorry that I went through this University. My research for papers has led me down many paths and has significantly added to my life and my knowledge base. Benefits of online learning are many. Transportation and lodging are not issues, I can work, take care of my family, and work on my studies. APUS has social groups and honor... Read More

The transportation and logistics graduate program focuses on a field which is continuously growing. This is why it is important to develop professionals with the quality and skills necessary to manage the expected growth of our nation's import and export capabilities. While the program is relatively new to many, it's importance is recognized worldwide. Transportation is the most crucial link in every supply chain.

I feel APU/AMU online coursework is very beneficial to a student who juggles a full time job and full time wife =) and allows me to do my coursework when I am able to as compared to a brick and mortar institution. As far as cons, I would say the lack of face to face student interaction would be it. It does not prepare you for your potential career and possible public speaking only communicating with your peers through the internet.

I have been a student at APUS since 2008 when I first began working toward my Bachelor's in English Literature. Their program was simulatenously challenging, interesting, and affordable, which is why I continued with them in my Master's program. While they do not have an English Literature Master's program, their Humanities program has offered me everything I could have hoped for in my pursuit of graduate education. I recommend them to anyone looking for an online education.

My degree is an online program so I'm missing a lot of the interaction and discussion that would come with a normal classroom. In turn, I can do my classwork any where and on my own timeline.

It's an OK school. Its focus is on active duty military. Anyone outside that may be better served elsewhere.
