Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)

I have only completed my first year so far but the professors have been very accommodating. I do with the hybrid glasses had more options. Some of the classes are just power points and assignments online but others are really great with video or audio lectures alongside the power points. They need to make this a requirement for all of the classes. The disability service office reply quickly to concerns but the progressors seem to forget your accommodations between each quiz or test and you have to... Read More

Arizona State University is a top notch institution. I completed my undergraduate nursing degree and am currently enrolled as a graduate student. I looked around at other schools, but ASU's program offered the best choice for my future career goals. In the nursing and advance nursing programs, they have excellent professors that are passionate about what they teach, and willing to go above and beyond for their students. Their simulation centers are state of the art, and help students practice real... Read More

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)

I am a current student at Arizona State University (ASU) in the Women's Health Doctorate of Nursing Practice (WHDNP) program. This university and this graduate program have exceeded my expectations. I am beginning my second year in the program and have been able to learn and grow so much as I am learning to become and advanced healthcare provider. The curriculum more than prepares students to become leaders in health care upon graduation. The instructors are very involved, hands-on, and experts in... Read More

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)

Applied to both ASU and U of A however chose ASU due to proximity to me, openness of faculty, and ease of program with my current life. Have my classmates that commute from out of state - though we have immersions (in-person class) approx 1-2x / month. Appreciate they set up our clinical sites and the faculty are all knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to help you succeed.

The DNP Program at ASU is wonderful. The faculty are very involved and make an attempt to know you personally. It is a hybrid online and campus program, which works well for all types of learners. The clinical coordinator makes the clinical experience great and takes a lot of stress of f the students. The faculty are well educated and in active practice, which makes a difference. I feel well prepared being in this program and would recommend it to my friends.
