After being diagnosed with Lupus in 2012, I relocated to Arizona to obtain a better quality of life. Arizona State University afforded me the opportunity to continue my education online. The support I am receiving gives me hope and access to a future

The skills and knowledge gained from the Masters of Liberal Arts program is instrumental in my pursuits to gain a deeper understanding of issues at both the country and global scale. In addition, in light of growing ethical concerns related to religion and technology. The curriculum has equipped me with the necessary skills to understand and resolve issues arising from these matters. It has also promoted my exploration of the impact of these issues and allow me to gain a better understanding of my... Read More

Arizona State University has an excellent curriculum and proper online degrees to pursue a career in many straightforward academic studies. After researching several online schools, I realized that Arizona State University offers many master programs in which many other online schools do not focus on such as history and liberal arts. Arizona State University has an excellent faculty who not only guides their scholars through their academic career but takes the extra step of writing proper letters... Read More

The Marriage and Family Therapy program at ASU is fast-paced due to the accelerated nature. The professors are the directors and they are wholeheartedly invested in the program and the quality of education. The program provided internships after the first semester is over and the internships carry through the following year. It is a fairly difficult program but it provides the necessary tools in the MFT field!

The pros of the graduate program at ASU, first would be the hands on assistance I received from start to finish while enrolling. Secondly would be timely response, support and assistance from all my professors. The cons would be the limited financing for education through scholarship opportunities and or grants.

A pro of the Master's of Science in Global Technology and Development (MSGTD) program would be that the program is very immersive. It allows a student to follow what development and technology is while centering on the impact of human society. Another pro of this graduate program is that it permits a student to focus on a specific area as a sub-section of the program. In doing so, the topics of development and technology can be further examined in order to see how advancements in society were made... Read More

PROS: To get a BCAB, you need to earn a Masters to get certified. This program works towards your masters while providing you the 1500 hours needed to get certified and licensed. CONS: Since this is a new program, the internship clinics are still trying to figure out exactly what to do. You rotate through clinics every 5 weeks to get a full understanding, which is good. Just some places are more prepared than others. Also, this is a heavy workload place, and the professors are expecting so much and... Read More

I think the staff are really accessible and resourceful, which is a pro because they can make or break the education experience. The cost of living in Tempe is really high, and the dorms aren't any cheaper, which is a big con if you can't afford living.

Pros: The program allows you to actively apply the knowledge you learn. 90% of graduates of the MFT program at ASU are employed in the field when they graduate. Cons: There is a program fee for each credit hour, in addition to tuition. The program is accelerated, so it can be challenging at times.

I really like my grad courses so far! Since I am a non-traditional student, I just need to get back into the habit of studying and reading. They are very interesting and are going to be helpful in my curving of what I want to do next!

My program allows to me fulfill my goals as I see plausible. All the faulty members are willing to assist me in anyway possible to meet these goals. It is a newly instituted program at Arizona State University making funding difficult to find. With time, there is promise that the program will be successful and a great interdisciplinary outlet for students who cannot find a language program with in their interests.

Arizona State University can be overwhelming for some. It is easy to get lost in the shuffle. The cons are there are moderate to larger class sizes and the availability of certain classes is minimal. Due to their phenomenal graduate programs I was able to find my niche and continue on my path to success. The level of professionalism between the staff and the students is great. Professors are continually pushing their students to the limit asking them to think beyond the box. ASU also has some of... Read More

The department and the graduate school have been very accommodating and are generally concerned about my education. I feel there is a high level of professionalism and the development of quality research. An advantage of ASU is that it is hot and sunny and a disadvantage of ASU is that it is hot and sunny.

I love ASU as a campus and many of their programs are top notch, I feel I was misled by the MLSt program, however. I was convinced to start the program right away and sol on its convenience and assured that I could make a career in my chosen field. I received NO career support during or after the program and was told by one instructor in my final semester that the program was really designed for "rich housewives who want to have a Masters". I borrowed heavily to complete this degree as no grants... Read More
