I am currently enrolled in the online MBA program at Arizona State University. I chose ASU because of its high online school rating and reputation among the professional community. I can proudly state that ASU is living up to its reputation. ASU has a very rigid program and holds all of its students to a high standard. Read More the class schedule will be for the lifetime of the program. This was extremely helpful with planning life activities such as family actives, closing dates on a house, and so on. During orientation, you also pick your team for core class team projects for your lifetime of the program as well. Mock projects are organized to help you learn to work with your new team and get to know each other. This was extremely helpful and I have had a great experience working with everyone. I have completed my first year with the program and have one more year remaining. The teachers and staff have been extremely kind and helpful. Even though I am online student and will not meet most of the teachers, they treat the students as if they were on campus. Every teacher has had flexible online office hours, set up message boards for group interaction with the entire class and have been very responsive to any questions. Though the classes are only 5 weeks the teachers try to get to know the students the best they can. All the teachers show a great interest and love for what they do. All teachers have been available outside of the classroom for questions and help with their expertise. Another great aspect of the ASU MBA program is it has a department set up to help their student get a degree related job after graduation. I have already been contracted with future job opportunities through this group. I would recommend anyone to attend ASU. They have a high standards for themselves and their students. They offer a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees and offer flexible means of classes (online, day and night classes).

I studied the online Master's of Business Analytics Program at ASU. This is a newer program that they offer so it may be open to changes in the future. I chose this program because I am working as a data analyst, but my skills were very basic and I wanted to be able to advance in my career. I have definitely learned many more analysis skills that I have found useful to implement in my current job. The only thing I wish that the program had was a little more emphasis on some of the technical skills... Read More like programming languages. The program focuses mostly on analytics, and does not go deeply into those sorts of technical skills. I think the expectation is that you will learn those on your own. The classes are basically split between classes from the supply chain department and the computer science program. I think there could be a little more emphasis on the computer science section versus the supply chain side. Overall though I think it will be greatly beneficial to my future endeavors.

The MSBA (Master's of Science in Business Analytics) at Arizona State University is a rigorous and demanding program. Pre-existing knowledge of statistics, some computer savvy, and a significant amount of personal drive is required to navigate successfully. Career services will work with you from day one, on everything from resume workshops to interview coaching. They take great pride in not only how well their students are able to work through curriculum, but also their success after graduation.... Read More As a graduate of the program, you will have a good grasp of the newest data analytic techniques and how to apply them in industry-specific projects. Private sector businesses are very involved in students' capstone projects and many are able to graduate with a job from the company they interfaced with. The MSBA program is truly worth the time and monetary investment if you are looking to jumpstart your career in data analysis and application!
