I study at Master of Music: Music Therapy degree program at Arizona State University. This course is a concentration program for 3 years. The music therapy courses at ASU are offered in a fast paced curriculum so that the student can prepare for the professional requirements within the first 1.5 years attending, and this includes many clinical and academic courses as well as advanced musicianship. After taking classes and internship only for 1.5 years at ASU, students can apply the exam for The Certification... Read More

I am an ASU Graduate student but I also received my undergraduate degree here. From the very beginning I felt very well guided. I went to previous colleges where I was given a lot of information but no one to walk me through the process. At ASU I was given tools to learn time management, study skills, and even how to use resources on the campus. During the majority of my courses I was a single mother so having someone there to help me, also allowed me to compete my degree and move forward toward... Read More

At Arizona State University, we can learn a variety of music therapy methods although at other universities, students usually learn only one or two music therapy methods. Therefore, we can select and provide the appropriate music therapy interventions to meet each client needs. We gain a wide knowledge about music therapy to pass the examination of Certification Board for Music Therapist. Professors are kind and wonderful. We can also learn wide knowledge in music and performance skill to become... Read More

The online master's program in clinical research management is a great program for someone already employed in the clinical research field. The courses are applicable to your everyday work. They have shown me other processes that work instead of just what I see in the academic field. the online format allows one to work and go to school at the same time. The only Con I feel is the lack of getting to know your fellow students. Discussion boards help but it would be better if we were to actually interact... Read More

I am pursuing both a MBA and a PhD in Nursing and Healthcare Innovation. The school has provided me with such an amazing education, access to incredible world-renown faculty, and experiences that go beyond the classroom. They also do their best to try and help you finance your degree. The course load is tough, but it should be, as they are preparing the next generation of research scientists. Parking can be an issue downtown, but the light rail helps make this easier too. Overall, such a good experience... Read More
