Arizona State University's online Master of Business Administration program at the W.P Carey School of Business is a phenomenal program that prepares the individual well for the future, regardless of the amount of previous experience. Being able to collaborate with other students from different backgrounds and with different strengths has opened my eyes to other opportunities for growth. Read More By developing close relationships with each member, it is great to learn new work and communication styles while learning from each other and building off of each others strengths. This program has taught me a lot about who I am as a student, what motivates me, and how I can apply all this information to my professional career. The academic support from program managers and instructors is incredible. By networking with individuals around the country, this program allows a broader perspective and application of the information.

Arizona State University is ranked #5 among online MBA schools and also one of the least expensive colleges to obtain an MBA from. Recently I also read that ASU is one of the top 10 colleges from which silicon valley hires. These were some of the credentials I looked at before applying to and accepting an admission from ASU. Right through the application process I was impressed. There was an admission specialist that was specifically assigned to me and he was always available to answer any questions... Read More I had while filling up my application! After I submitted my application I even got a call from the specialist and he congratulated me and let me know that I was accepted into the program. I later got transferred to an enrollment advisor who guided me through the process of enrolling for classes and answering other miscellaneous questions I had. I then got added to a cohort who would go through the entire journey with me. I also like the format that was designed for the online program. Each semester is broken down to 3 courses that take place one after another and each lasts for 5 weeks. For a working professional this format makes complete sense since I only have to focus on 1 course at a time. I also read that the student can choose when to take the final exam in that course during the 5 week period. It just keeps getting better. There is decent online MyASU website in which most information can be found and if one cannot find an answer, there is a 24/7 chat service available. And as a last resort there is also an email that can be sent, which gets answered in 24 hrs. Additionally an online tutor is also available to answer any questions you man have and all classes are recorded so that you can watch it at your leisure. For online correspondence with cohort members university gmail is available in which chat and video sessions can be initiated. I am still in the online MBA program and hence cannot give a full correspondence of the program and its benefits. But with what I have seen so far I am confident that the post-graduate benefits such as earning potential, preparedness for career, satisfaction with degree and career advising would also earn top points from me. The ASU online MBA program has been a challenging but rewarding experience. There are significant support systems and resources dedicated to the success of online students. There is an emphasis on group work which I have found to be extremely helpful not only in learning course materials but also in feeling supported throughout the program. The W.P. Carey School of Business Online MBA program at ASU is intense and extremely rewarding. I understood that this program would be accelerated due to the online aspect, but the administration and professors fully understand that almost all of my classmates are full-time professionals, some with families, political careers, volunteer work, etc. on top of that and attending ASU full-time. I can honestly say without a doubt that this has been the most aggravating, intense, and devastatingly rewarding educational experience I've had to date.
