I am currently in the Curriculum and Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) (MEd) at ASU online. I was very hesitant to take online classes because they can be very disconnected and have to self teach yourself everything. I was wrong and ASU online has made it very easy to receive support when necessary and also use the classmates for support. I will be starting my third class and look forward to learning from a different instructor. Online worked best for me, because it allowed me to work full... Read More

Online learning inherently sounds like a sole-individual environment. At times, this would mean that I study alone at home, in the office or at the local Starbucks. Despite functioning in this setting, I chose to pursue graduate school online with Arizona State University (ASU). I was astounded to learn that I would not be alone for long. ASU has proven that distance cannot stop joint learning. I am continuously interacting with my classmates. Each course has synchronous meetings with 3-4 classmates... Read More

Arizona State University is a fantastic school for many majors. For both my bachelors and masters degrees, I went through the Mary Lou Fulton Teacher's College. I had classes both in person and online. All of the instructors have been helpful, respectful and fair. I have encountered no issues with this school and would greatly recommend it to anyone who wants to further their education.

The online program allowed me to stay in China with my husband, work part-time and study at any time convenient to me. I really appreciate this opportunity, for even though my GPA in college were not good enough for the program, the admission staff took into consideration of my experience in the field and references from experts and granted me admission provisionally. It shows how this university value a persons experiences and talents, comparing to some other universities who just consider GPA points.... Read More

I am currently enrolled in my last year of a Masters in Education- Curriculum and Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) at Arizona State University (ASU). ASU has challenged in ways I didn't think it was possible. Each course in the program is getting me closer to becoming the best professional in the field of applied behavior analysis. I have learned a lot from each class, and I am very pleased with the program. It's challenging, but it's interactive. I cannot wait to graduate from ASU!

The pros of my graduate program are that all of my professors have experience teaching in classrooms where English language learners are present, and I have often found that my professors are either English language learners themselves, or come from families who speak English as a second language. Although I am attending an online Graduate program at Arizona State University, I still feel highly connected to the campus. ASU sends constant updates about the happenings on campus and the achievements ASU has been recognized for. There are counselors and and academic coaches who reach out to me to ensure I am receiving what I need as a distance student. The only con of this program may be that there are limited opportunities to interact with fellow Graduate students, which I enjoy very much.
