The State of Arizona is notorious for their teacher shortage. ASU's Education program is directly addressing that with many different programs that prepare educators. The mix of courses shows that the program is on the forefront of the field. It is also a very respected school, so your degree will go far not just in Arizona, but all over the US and internationally.

I attended ASU online while living in Kaiserslautern Germany and pursued a masters degree in Educational Technology. I was astounded at how well connected I felt to my learning community. The school does an incredible job braiding together the student, the technology, and the learning content while providing a supportive and engaging learning community.

I am currently living overseas with my husband, an Army employee, and four children. Finding a school that offered a quality online program that would not break the bank was of the utmost importance to me. I wanted a school that did not accept anyone and everyone off the street but rather had some selection process with applicants. Pursuing a graduate degree is an intimidating path all in itself. Choosing to do so from overseas and risking the financial well-being of my family was a difficult choice... Read More

I started at ASU for MEd and enjoyed the instruction and types of real world assignments. I did one semester at NAU for their online program but found the classes at ASU more directly associated with the type of work I wanted to do. As ASU had a concentration for Instructional Design, whereas NAU did not.

I am a current graduate student studying educational technology at ASU. I am an Arizona state resident but living overseas with my family. ASU made it very easy to return to graduate school. Everyone has been so helpful and encouraging. The online school has made family life, school, work, and every other aspect of life extremely manageable. Courses are extremely easy to navigate and response time on any questions or concerns I have had has been incredible: an out 24 hours turnaround. I look forward... Read More

I love ASU and have two degrees from this institution; a Bachelor's in Art History, and a Masters in Secondary Education. ASU did a great job in preparing me for my career as a teacher, and I look forward to beginning this new Masters in a few weeks to further enhance my pedagogy and advance my career!

For several years I've wanted to attend Arizona State University and am happy to say that now as a student, I'm learning things that have helped me develop on a personal level, but have even more so helped me to advance myself as a young working professional. Studying Educational Technology at ASU has given me added skills and insight into how to be a better Educator and Trainer and through my studies, I've now able to connect with learners of all levels and inspire them to achieve their academic...
