I am just beginning my graduate program at ASU and so far my transition has been fairly smooth. Each person that I have contacted about admissions or finances has quickly responded and aided me along in this process. The classes for the nanoscience program are all well rounded and collaborative. One of the drawbacks is that some of the classes are only offered periodically. Depending on when the program is began will depend on if a student gets to take certain classes they want to take. That or have... Read More

School is ok overall. The classes are the right size, the materials or content covered is for the most part up to date. The professors are not as good as other universities.

Arizona State University's Material Science and Engineering program is a small and highly specialized program that focuses on the research side of engineering. The classes are small and the students are able to work with a large variety of analytical equipment even as undergrads. As a student in the the online Master's program I have found the classes to be very relevant and engaging. I would recommend both undergraduate and Master's programs.

ASU has an easy and efficient admission process. The staff is very helpful and continues to guide me. The advisors are well versed on class scheduling and class difficulty. This really helps with ensuring work load will not be too much for one semester. With my experience thus far I highly recommend Arizona State University.

ASU really strives to ensure success of the students. I felt supported, but it was a really fun environment. The classes are challenging, and there was plenty of help offered throughout my 7 years.

Completing my bachelor's degree and moving into a job immediately never gave me chance to think about pursuing master's degree. But once I started working gradually I realized how industry works in real. Gradually I was exposed to new technologies, work cultures and potential opportunities that I could aim for. All these opportunities or bigger career goals can be achieved with a higher degree and formal education. Graduate level education may seem tough but I am confident that it will be quite rewarding...
