Having graduated in December of 2022, I was constantly told & read in emails, how much they want you to succeed. How much they would be willing to help. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for me. I have had an extremely hard time finding work as I have no previous Public Health work experience but do work in a hospital as a CNA. I am putting in resumes, cover letters, & checking on them, weekly. I apply to places almost daily. I have had someone on LinkedIn go over and polish my resume. I still... Read More

Pursuing a degree in Health Sciences was the best thing I could've done. This program aligns you with a admin professional who direct you along the way to graduate on time. Not too often do you see a university that cares as much as BSU does. I was enrolled in a "finish in 4" program and I can guarantee you it has lived up to its name. I am a proud graduate with a bachelors degree as of May 2019 and am moving forward to obtain my masters. Go Broncos!

I had a great experience with the English department at Boise State University during the four years I studied there. The faculty that I worked with were knowledgeable about the process of writing and had either been published in literary journals or published novels. The classes outside of creative writing were just as engaging for a student who loves literature and debating concerns of the times. I had one or two negative experiences but those were with adjunct faculty. Overall I would say that... Read More

Boise State University offers so many opportunities to explore your interests. During my undergraduate degree, I was really interested in traveling and studying Spanish in a foreign country. Boise State gave me the tools and resources I needed to study in Spain for one year. It was the best year of my undergraduate program. I accomplished the main goal I had set for myself thanks to the help of the on-campus study abroad office. Boise state also hosts events that teach you about new cultures, poetry... Read More

This school has a lot of potential. My graduating year got the raw end of the stick, we never really got the classes we needed and if you failed a class it was hard to graduate on time. However, they have made great strides in trying to resolve this issue by redoing some of the curriculum in some of the classes and adding more classes that are diverse.

Social work is not a lucrative profession. So, the MSW didn't impact my income. However, the program at Boise is intense. The professors are knowledgable, but not all seemed as accessible as others. While students need to take charge of their eduction, some professors struggled at demonstrating commitment to the success of their students.

Graduated from the Career Track MBA program. In short, it's lacking. Classes are very easy, especially if you've worked in business or took business classes during your undergrad. If you have work experience and are making $50k or more annually don't waste your time. They are very focused on just getting EVERYBODY graduated. Job placement is not a priority and neither is academic integrity. We had students caught cheating and one guy coat-tailed the whole program to the point he got kicked off his... Read More

With the exception of one professor in this program, I have nothing but good things to say about Boise State's Online MSW Program. They are organized and responsive to each individual student. I found a local field placement for my program in less than a month. I love my advisor and have had an above average positive experience!

Boise is a great little community to go to school in. BSU has great academics and professors, but it also has great, and unique, extracurriculars (a Quidditch and Beekeeping team to name a few). Other perks of being a Bronco that I have particularly enjoyed are checking out laptops from the school, and riding the city and intercounty busses for free with my student ID.

Boise State University employs an enhanced service learning component to both undergraduate and graduate learning. In the MPA program, service learning enabled application of public administrative theory through the continuation of a previous investigation into food insecurity on the Boise State campus. Our class built on the recommendation to address food insecurity by researching current university food pantry models in the United States and through a review of related literature. In addition,... The Educational Technology program at Boise State University has, without a doubt, made me a better educator. I have always be competent with technology but was definitely a bit intimidated by it. Through the classes I took and products I created over the course of this program I have become significantly less intimidated by technology, but more importantly I've learned so much about myself and the products I'm capable of creating utilizing technology. I grew up in Idaho and I always told myself I'd go to college out of state, however, Boise State ended up offering me scholarships that I couldn't refuse. I was a little disappointed but after I started attending classes, getting involved in school activities and meeting new people, I was so grateful I'd decided to choose Boise State. Boise State University offered a great program for Supply Chain Management. I feel that the program allowed me to understand the basics of Supply Chain, and has set me up for a great entry level position within Supply Chain. The curriculum was easy to manage, and was not too demanding. The professors were always available, and had a myriad of work experience under their belts that helped us better understand the applicable topics of Supply Chain, and how they apply to various industries.

Boise is a nice college town. It would do some good to have a bike. Otherwise parking a vehicle on campus could be pricey. The library is a nice quiet place to study, the higher you go up the more tranquil the noise. I attended four years here, and even to this day use the public computers for when i have to write a research paper for my job.
