When I was researching colleges I saw Bryant & Stratton and it just clicked. I was able to get my degree completely online while working. The teachers were incredible to work with. They were all very supportive. I absolutely recommend going here. From the start when I was speaking to admissions they walked me through everything from financial aid to my degree. My academic advisor was also incredibly helpful. He was with me every step of the way and answered every question quickly. One thing that... Read More I really loved was that the curriculum is set. All the classes pertained to my degree. I didn't have to take and pay for fluff classes.

I started Bryant and Strattom College and they always said they would help no matter what. I called and explained that I needed to drop down to part time because my job was getting very demanding and I did not have as much time as I previously did. I was told to do my best and that they could not do anything for me. So now I'm stuck with a $2200 bill because I was not given any assistance what so ever when I needed the help. It is true that everyone will have their own experience. For me, it was not an option to go to a campus because I would often get out of work late. Where everyone else was receiving promotions, I lacked the minimum college education, but exceeded the work experience. Online classes was stressful and demanding with posting replies to other students. However, so is life. If you want something, you need to work for it. I worked long nights and every weekend. I took my books on vacation and studied by... Read More the pool side. Yes, it cost money and I was fortunate to receive some financial aid and loans. I will worry about paying it when the time comes, but I have a job that will allow me to make those payments. A college degree provides knowledge that one will keep for a lifetime. In my opinion, it is worth a lot more than the money. I recommend taking advantage of the school faculty. There are people in the financial office to help you understand what you will be paying each month.

I am a current student at Bryant & Stratton, I had previously tried community colleges and felt like a number, and like they could care less whether I passed or failed, not to mention the drive to the campus and them deciding my hours. I am so glad that I was accepted at Bryant & Stratton. This is college and it is for adults and you are expected to behave that way. Now that I have been there a while, I still get random emails checking in on me, if I ever have to email or call anyone they are respond promptly. Additionally, I have had a great experience with all of my instructors, they do expect you to do your work, but they are also willing to help you in anyway that they can, even giving personal phone numbers, Skype account, Google Hangout accounts, among other things. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and have had since I enrolled and it is because I have worked hard for it. I truly believe that you can succeed if you want to, but you do have to work for it. I would also like to add, with ever college there's always going to be some credits that do not transfer, that is normal. However, that won't affect me because I intend to stay with Bryant & Stratton until I get my Masters Degree. Anyone who wants to do this can, and here at B&S they develop individualized plans for the students and I love that, they know that most of have experience and I think that is one thing that I love the most. I also home school my three children, who are ages 11,12, & 13, and with the flexibility of B&S I am able to do all of that, my work, take care of house, and my other responsibilities, I also do hair part-time, and make and sell home decor. I agree with the other people you get what you put in. I have to say that online school is not the right choice for everyone, if you expect to be spoon fed, and babied, then it isn't, if you are not self-disciplined then it is not for you. You have to be willing to sign in everyday, and stay on top of your work, you have to make it a priority, and make a commitment. I love the classes lasting 7.5 weeks, I have ADD and I get bored easy, but with classes being mini terms, I don't have time to get bored, I always have something to do. B&S has been a perfect fit to me. I am hoping that they have a Dean's list and that I make it for my GPA, that is the only thing I keep forgetting to ask. This has been a great choice for me, that has worked perfectly with my schedule, my personality, my life, and everything else.
