By far, this has been the best educational experience I have ever had. The sense of community, personalized support, and encouragement at Bryant & Stratton College made all the difference for me. I am grateful for everything they have done to help me succeed.

I feel overall the experience was good, I think that the sequencing of courses could have been better in gaining understanding. I feel that some courses should have been taken prior to others.
I am impressed with the instructors and their involvement during each course for the most part. There are a few I will never forget because not only were they present but also supportive and available during the course. This is not a fake review. The financial department at this school is horrible. I told them I wanted to pay cash instead of getting a student loan because I didn't need one. The financial department threw a fit and became unprofessional. The lady that I talked to became angry and told me that they will not help me. They said I had no choice but to get a student loan. I should have known right there that this was going to be a bad decision. I made the bad choice of signing up anyway. Soon after, they... Read More immediately wanted money for the next semester. I sent them a check for the difference of my student loan. They then proceeded to tell me that I have to sign a Master Promissory Note every time I send them money or they would cancel my classes. I told them no because it is not necessary for every payment. They got angry again. So I purposefully canceled my classes. They tried to argue with me and I told them to call my loan servicer and take it up with them. Two days later I get an email from my academic advisor asking me to resume my classes. I told her that I would if I don't have to sign a MPN. She made it happen. They are only out for your money. Another thing, they use old youtube video's to help navigate through their web interfaces that are of no help at all, and teachers have a bad habit of not answering their emails when you need help.

I do not recommend this college for this degree. This program is fraught with stupid errors such as simple spelling mistakes, or quizzes that are answer key coded wrong. It is gallingly apparent the program manager and others (including professors) cared nothing for proof reading the quality of work they were putting out there. It made me question the competency of the school and the degree program. I also do not recommend this school because the instructors do nothing to help students. You teach... Read More yourself, and they simply collect a paycheck. In addition, this program should not advertise that this is a billing program. For the entirety of the program, we learned the medical coding side. At NO POINT did we take a class that shed light on the billing aspect. To add salt to an already stinging wound, I just received my diploma in the mail only to find the shell that holds the diploma..and no diploma. If you expect Bryant and Strattons president to care..he wont. To date, I sent an email addressing my concerns over three months ago, and have not received a response. Do not waste your time or money on a sub-par educational experience.

I think that all these bad reviews are from lazy people who feel that the degree should just be handed to them. I have had nothing but helpful, encouraging instructors. Whenever I have not understood something,I emailed or called my instructor and most of the time received a response right away. Of course you are teaching yourself. It is an ONLINE school. What did you expect. If you don't have the mental capacity to learn from the discussions ND assignments you are screwed, and are wasting your time.... Read More I agree that the discussions are tedious sometimes but, it is what it is. I have seen what my classmates post. The words they use are at a fifth grade level at best. I research every discussion topic above and beyond the lecture material. I post an entire page, with examples, and my classmates post 3 sentences. That is what annoys me. And when we ask each other questions, none of them can form an educated response to keep the discussion going. This is not the fault of the instructors. It is grown adults being lazy, trying to get a degree but, not putting forth the effort to do anything productive to earn it. The posts where people say it is two years later and you still haven't found a job in your field, how is that possible? I emailed career services and they are helping me find one as we speak, and I haven't even graduated yet. Again you have to put forth the effort. Most employers want people with experience. Therefore,having career services help you, is what you need to do. My only complaint is the ignorant students they allow in this school. Ghetto language, and the fact that I work my butt off and these other students just do a half-baked job and still pass. I tired to befriend a fellow classmates, and she was so annoying and negative. Always complaining about the assignments, the instructor, etc. And always asking me for the answers. She would ask the instructor for help , and since the instructor did not just tell her the answer, but told her where to find it, she complained to the academic advisor and the advisor told her the instructor did nothing wrong. I laughed at that then blocked her on everything. I am here to earn my degree not be dragged down by someone else's negativity. Bottom line is if you are attending this school, you are an adult. Step up to the plate, don't do a half-baked job,and don't complain about the cost. Nothing is free, this is America. You are going to lay no matter what college you go to. You fell it isn't worth it because you don't put forth the effort to make it worth it. Grow up people!

I have been with B & S for a year now. As of now, I have not had any issues regarding my coursework. As a online student, you are expected to go above and beyond a little to get the information needed. For instance, if I have a question, and it is not answered quickly I will seek answers through other sources. This is my third medical coding program, I started with Fortis and attended Virginia College for a few months. I had to quit both programs due to personal issues. As of now,I will be checking... My main concern is my internship, and as long as everything is okay with that I will be a happy camper!! **No matter what program or school you are in you need to be willing to do whatever is necessary to reach you desired goal.

Started out in the Medical Coding and Reimbursement program doing ICD-10 what I realized is that once I get out of college there my degree is useless as ICD-10 won't be implemtmented then. So after I complained they put us in ICD-9 (what gave us the book for free? Yeah right we had to return the ICD-10 book, which we paid for!). Great wellthe teaching was awful, the one teacher told me they hand us a box and we put the information up on the site to do! No help whatsoever from the instructors, questions... Read More took days to get a response. Then they never explained anything the response was your an adult figure it out. Why am I paying to do it on my own. Needless to say after wasting a ton of money on schooling there I switched due to the lack of communication of anyone and the advisor once they had your money could of cared less about you.
