I truly enjoyed my experience at CSUF. Getting my undergrad there was more affordable than going to a private university. Most of my professors were excellent and truly cared about their students. I gained so much knowledge that help me in the field and currently in grad school. I was able to be a teacher's assistant and through this I learned how much I enjoyed teaching. Also, the psychology program requires you have an internship, which I think was the best experience. Especially since this was... Read More one of things that helped me find a job after I graduated. If I did not have that experience in the field, I think it would have been even more challenging to find a job. The only thing I wish I would have known is that with a psycholgy undergrad, it is hard to find a job that pays a liveable wage. I enjoyed my classes and everything I learned, but now in hindsight I wish I would have had a class that informed me that bascially I had to get a master's degree to get a job that I truly enjoyed and that paid well. Also, I wish I would have known about the details of grad school so I could have gone striaght into a grad program verses talking a year off. Overall, I am happy with my CSUF experience and am grateful for everything I learned from my undergrad.

California State University Fullerton (CSUF) is a great school to attend if you are looking to not only earn a degree but also gain mentors and networking connections. While at CSUF I was given the opportunity to gain experience as a teaching assistant and research assistant which helped me gain the experience I needed to get into graduate school. All my professors showed the dedication they have towards helping their students succeed by making time to see you during office hours or by appointment.... Read More If you were unable to meet them in person they also were quick to respond by email. I would highly recommend considering CSUF if you want to study Psychology or Criminal Justice. Being a double major, I can vouch for both programs. College is what you make of it, and if you work hard and build connections you will set yourself up for after graduation. Go Titans!

Cal State Fullerton is a great school if you want to focus on your education, its not that big of a party school which I really liked. The psychology professors are very good and well informed. CSUF provided me with a great education one that I feel has really benefited my career and will help me excel in my graduate program. The campus is small, making it very easy to walk from class to class which I really liked and they also have a lot of opportunities to work on campus. The Psychology Department... Read More Student Association (PDSA) is a great for psychology students who plan on pursuing a masters degree in psychology, PDSA really helps prepare and inform you of all the requirements needed.
