The Human Services major requires three, 120 hour internships as an undergraduate. This major and internships have allowed me to obtain work experience, leaderships skills, and cultural sensitivity awareness. Through very specific classes such as Child Abuse, Proposal Writing, Theories and Techniques of Counseling, Intimate Partner Violence, and Case Management, I have been highly prepared for my counseling Masters Program, where as some of my other classmates that majored in other areas are struggling.... CSUF provided a diverse on-campus culture that broadened my networks, connections, and understanding with others. Overall I believe cal state fullerton is a great school I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend. The human service program amazing I loved how all the professors were committed to the students and their profession. They were all so passionate of what they were teaching it made me more excited to get out there. I learned so much.

California State University, Fullerton is a great commuting based college. Most of the students are from local cities and the population is highly diverse. Moreover, many students are transferred from different community colleges, and they are older than typical college students; however, the age difference was beneficial for me. Older students taught me the proper work ethic and the right attitude to approach studying. From my years in college, what I really enjoyed was my major, Human Services.... Read More
