My program advisor was very helpful, letting me know what courses I needed, the program course to follow, and my estimated timeline until graduation. All of my instructors were very helpful and always made sure that they were available on a variety of formats (online, skype, office hours, phone). Course expectations were always very clear.

Cal State Fullerton is a wonderful option for teachers looking to get their masters degree online. They structure their classes, knowing that you are working full time, and target the lessons to be meaningful and helpful to your career. Overall the access to online curriculum and content is good, and staff is receptive to online communication.

The graduate program for Physical Education is very competitive. Out of the 45 applicants that applied only 15 got into the program. Pro's to this program are that it is an amazing program. About 90% of the students who exit the program have found jobs within a year. The program is of very high value, especially for Kinesiology-Physical Education. The Con's to this program are all the additional costs. As grad students we pay different tuition fee's than the undergraduate students and on top of that... Read More

The program is incredibly demanding, even though it is part time. It covers a triple topic load, teaching students how to do scientific research, how to create instructional design projects and about different learning theories. The pros are you learn an incredible amount of useful information. The cons are the work load is intense, equal to full time, and can take up a significant amount of time on homework.

This is a program that requires counselors to work on their personal issues in order to be an effective counselor. This program allows you to start gaining hands on experience in your first semester. The overload can very stressful if you are not willing to open up and face your countertransference. This program allows you to work and attend evening classes. The only con is that it is not a cohort program. Overall, it is a great program!

I am a current student in the Combined Credential/Master's program at CSUF. It is a 16-month program in which I will earn my multiple subject credential and my M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. There are several pros to this program. It is accelerated, which saves you time and money. The school has excellent connections with most school districts in the area, so when you attend CSUF for education, you are inheriting a good reputation and becoming part of a great network. The professors are incredibly... Read More
