I am pursuing a Master degree in Health Administration through an executive master program. Classes meet on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)every three weeks, and we have group meetings every other week, and intensive online communications among students and with faculty. Beyond the diversity of students enrolled in this program, what I've found most helpful is how FAU's staff made me feel welcome by treating me as an individual, not as a number, and by addressing my individual objectives and needs.... I am currently finishing my Master's in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University. This program was great in that it taught me a lot I did not know about health care organizations and the business aspect of health care facilities. The course I enjoyed the most is the internship course. This course allowed students to do an internship in a health care organization for a semester, which really helped students to learn by doing and put the theory to work. There are many people who end up failing the courses because of the amount of time expected for you to put into the program. I am happy to say that I really enjoy being a part of the FAU Health Administration program.
