Florida State University was the best decision of my life. I had the opportunity to go to any school in Florida but heres why FSU was the best. Community. There is a special feeling that you get when you step on to this beautiful campus. There are people that you find that are just as excited and inquisitive. School spirit and a sense of belonging. I attended FSU as an undergrad and grad student and joined many organizations including the well regarded Marching Chiefs. I worked as a graduate assistant... Read More

Florida State University has allowed me to grow as a person. Many colleges or universities attempt to use students to make their stats look better to the public. However, FSU shows students how they can be great at the university and provides resources for those students to succeed. I have attended FSU as an undergrad and grad student and held multiple jobs and positions in registered student organizations on campus. It's safe to say that I couldn't get enough time at this institution. The college... Read More

Throughout my undergraduate career, I experienced a variety of activities. I was adequately offered extracurricular and volunteer activities that would be fundamental to getting into graduate school. The programs and the experiences FSU has to offer was by far my favorite aspect of FSU. Sometimes the instructors lacked and were too focused on their individual research to be involved with students, answer emails, or provide adequate instruction during class. Many of the instructors did not seem loyal... Read More

Florida State University is a wonderful school! Majority of my professors were amazing and very clear in what their expectations were in regards to assignments, papers, and tests. I do wish that my advisor would have been a bit more helpful in assisting me in choosing a major as I was a bit lost when I first started. The financial aid team was always super helpful in answering my questions, there was always a line at the office though so definitely carve out some extra time if you have to head there.... Read More

I loved attending Florida State University for a number of reasons, with one of the biggest being how well known the university is and how that stands out on a resume. Between the football games, basketball games, student life in general and the superb academics, Florida State University is an excellent choice for most people. I chose to major in Economics, and they actually require you to have a minor since there is only 36 credit hours of Economics classes needed to fulfill the program. I chose... Read More

My experience at Florida State University was excellent. At Florida State, students are given a surplus of resources that help you turn your passion and interests into skills and experiences. I was able to work in several research labs along with side professors, get one internship, study abroad twice. All of this was only possible with the help of many advisors, professors, and other faculty members. It is a great place to find and build yourself.

Florida State University really puts emphasis on each student. Going to advisers or even professors in the English department for anything, they go above and beyond for you. My program was freshly new when i first started, but one of the deciding factors that made me went to apply was the internship opportunity that they put a lot of emphasis on. Internships are vital. Having experience, while pursuing your degree at the same time is something that benefits you in the long run. I recommend students... Read More

Florida State University is rated as a highly sought out university to attend in Florida. As much as I enjoyed the sports and the fun it was the rigorous curriculum I believe should prepare a person for the real world. I didnt have many lenient instructors, all of them were very structured and had great expectations. I would definitely say use the rate my professor to see which classes would be best for you.

Although FSU was not on my list of top colleges that I wanted to attend, I do not look upon my time there poorly. During my undergraduate career, I was able to establish myself in a major that I am happy with, meet wonderful people who will become lifelong friends, be a part of the honor's program, and participate in organizations that I admired. I am very glad that my time at FSU has allowed me to continue to pursue my career at a top-level graduate school. Go Noles!

I loved my experience at Florida State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Music Education. My freshman year, I lived on campus in Cawthon Hall, which was for mostly music students. I had a great time there, with awesome roommates and three classes in my dorm. All the courses, from ear training, to music history, to class piano, to orchestra, to cello studio, to private lessons, to educational were enriching and life-changing. I felt very prepared to enter into my professional field when... Read More

Florida State University is truly a unique university. It is located within Tallahassee, the capital of the state, along with two other major schools, FAMU and Tallahassee Community College. The schools all work cooperatively with each other in several departments. We are also the center of political activity within the state which can provide some exciting opportunities to be involved political and with activist groups. FSU is the smallest land area school but it's also beautiful. Several libraries... Read More

My time at Florida State University was crucial to my growth and development as a person. Though I continue to learn and grow since I have graduated, so many of my experiences at FSU have truly shaped me into who I am today! It was a great program & educational experience. I highly encourage future students to join a club/group that is related to what they want to pursue in their professional future. Being such a large school, there is a lack of 1-on-1 guidance that many students seek. Having a club with upper classmen to talk to really helped steer me in the right direction when I was coming close to graduating.

FSU is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to attend. The degree program, Exercise Physiology, is a very broad program that lets you go into any health related field later on. The classes are mostly science based courses such as chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, and metabolism. There are opportunities for career fairs, networking events, organizations, and clubs; however, it is up to you to get involved.

It is a great opportunity to study there. The gradschool quality I consider is high. The job as teaching assistant is doable, and you could learn a lot by teaching. The facilities are new. Florida State definitely has funding so you won't see problems with no having instruments or money for research. In general, I fully recommend it.

First, I feel that the class difficulty in the Business School is challenging enough to make you think critically about the topics, and learn to solve problems which is a skill that is critical to have in any professional setting. I enjoyed my undergraduate program, however I had a little different circumstances with it. I started school by going for nursing, so I had to switch into studio art after a year and a half. Because of this, getting my credits was slightly different than the average art student. I like having studios for every medium, and the support that professors gave me was very helpful.
