Full Sail teaches surface-level content, readily admits it while teaching, and tells you to figure it out yourself after graduation. They ignore that people have lives they need to live while attending and may not have the time after graduating to practice while being smothered by the debt they have sunk their students into. They do not have "industry connections" unless you are able to create at a pro level at the time of your graduation. Stay away.

I was lied to, I was told they looked up my high school and with it being a self pace school it would be not be a problem with me attending college. But after allowing me to start they told me I had until 25 of July to get everything in they needed they sent me a email on 14 with concerning needing my diploma since my transcript was good enough so I had until the 15 to get it in. So did that . Very next day they deleted all my stuff dropped me from school, so I called and said that they wouldn't... Read More

Full sail started out as a good school and I got good grades but I had a bad teacher who didn't like online students. He kept accusing me of cheating and failing me and I went through a council to appeal it and they didn't care and didn't do anything about it. Not only the the people on the council knew nothing about my program so it made sense for them to side with the instructor and everytime I wrote a complaint they defended the teacher and the class is a 2 attempt class, so they withdrew me from... The experience I had getting my degree was great, being able to cover sports stories and learn how it's done was once in a lifetime. With having a job and a family man, the online class made it easy to balance family and school with ease. If you have a family, I recommend going online.

Full Sail University, like all colleges, has its ups and downs. The most significant aspect for me was being able to pursue my education online and graduate with a bachelor's degree in under three years. I could work at my own pace and from anywhere, which worked well with my nomadic lifestyle. I also enjoyed how the majority of the courses were directly related to my degree program, and most assignments gave me free rein to decide the direction of the projects. As someone who works and learns well... Read More

Pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Science at Full Sail University has been one of the most intense yet rewarding academic experiences of my life. The accelerated one-year online format was a perfect fit for my schedule, allowing me to grow professionally without having to put my career on pause.
What truly stood out to me was the consistent support from the professors. Their availability, encouragement, and practical guidance helped me stay grounded even when the coursework became challenging.... Read More
The program itself was well-structured and modern—rich with hands-on projects, real-world applications, and opportunities to refine both theoretical knowledge and technical skills. I especially enjoyed the courses that focused on Jupyter Notebooks and coding within individual cells. They opened up new ways for me to organize my thoughts and approach problem-solving, making coding feel both intuitive and powerful.
Of course, balancing such an intensive program with daily life wasn’t without its sacrifices. I gave up a lot of personal time to ensure that my assignments and projects were not only completed on time, but done to the best of my ability. However, that discipline and commitment helped sharpen my work ethic and deepened my appreciation for the field.
This program didn’t just give me a degree—it prepared me for the future. I gained valuable technical skills, confidence in my abilities, and a clearer vision for where I want to go next in my career. I’m incredibly grateful for my time at Full Sail and would recommend it to anyone serious about elevating their expertise in computer science.

It only took a few months of attending class with Full Sail for me to realize the education I was receiving was something special. For two and a half years I received instruction on industry standards, learning everything from editing, web building, copyright, and even the importance of a work life balance.
The classes weren’t preparing you to become a capitalism robot, they were teaching you to take your creative roots and allowing them to grow into your lifelong career.

Please think about your schooling options for at least a year before deciding to attend this university, because despite it being more affordable than most art schools out there, 90% of the cases I've seen it's not worth it. You don't even really need a degree for most art career paths, I would genuinely suggest teaching yourself through online tutorials on your own free time than to attend this school. It's extremely expensive, and for what you get in return I don't think I got my money's worth.... Read More

Full Sail University has definitely given me the tools and knowledge to move forward in whatever career I choose. I myself am an independent artist (Ayinar) and found the courses to be of extreme help when I came to furthering my career. They also provide a great environment to further your knowledge after graduation. If you know you have the drive and wanna push yourself to grow more. I'd recommend Full Sail University.

Great school to learn the basics of what you want to do. However, with only learning the basics by graduation I either haven’t heard back from the job posting/internship or they sent back a “we went with someone more qualified.” I wouldn’t be mad about this but for how much my degree cost I should have been more prepared by now. So, now I’m stuck in Florida with a high rent, because Full Sail doesn’t have student housing, having to work two minimums wage jobs to afford it.

One of the things I love most is the inclusivity. Regardless of age, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation, Full Sail welcomes everyone with open arms. The diverse student body brings together people from all walks of life, and there are plenty of clubs, networking events, and activities to keep students engaged outside of class.
The one-month course format can be intense, but it teaches you valuable time management and self-discipline—skills that are essential in the real world. The challenge is real, but so is the reward. By the time you graduate, you’ve not only earned a degree, but also gained hands-on experience that prepares you for your career.
I’d definitely recommend Full Sail to anyone looking for an accelerated, enriching college experience that’s built around real-world expectations. If I decide to pursue my Master’s, I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Also worth noting—Full Sail has produced some seriously impressive alumni who’ve made names for themselves in entertainment, gaming, and tech. Just to name a few: Gary Rizzo (Academy Award-winning sound mixer), Adam Wingard (director of Godzilla vs. Kong), and Sebastian Krys (Grammy-winning producer). Their success is a testament to the quality of education and opportunities Full Sail provides.
Overall, I’d give my experience a solid 9/10.

I was hell going through this school. You can forget everything you learned after only a month. No breaks from this school. Teacher help was mixed some quick others slow. Late school work don't get me started. You can ask for extension, but some teachers will still give you reduction in points. The positives is the launch box items and while there is no breaks you can work ahead to get a day off. If you want your degree in less than 3 years here you go, but if you don't stay away.

However, the administrative side of things was riddled with issues. I was put in classes I had previously taken and passed, which caused significant delays in my graduation. The response to fix these issues was slow, leading to my graduation being delayed by several months. This administrative inefficiency was frustrating and detracted from the overall experience.
