I am so unhappy with this program. The instructors are terrible (and not just the temp professors), there is little to no student support, technology used is way behind the times (seriously, I feel like I am back in 2002, nothing about this is current, let alone cutting-edge). It seems they will admit just about anyone, and you will wonder how many of your classmates got into graduate school, let alone how they are getting As and Bs. Shockingly little professional development for a "professional... Read More degree" program. And I cannot stress this enough, the instructors are terrible! Grading criteria will never be clear, but it hardly matters because you will still pass, even if undeserved. My lower division undergraduate classes were harder than most of these. If I could undo my decision to go here, I would in a heartbeat. I'm seriously considering quitting one semester in. This program is not cheap, and it is not worth the money! I am learning nothing, it is not worth networking with most of my classmates and teachers, and this program is not well regarded by employers in the area (for good reason). This is the biggest mistake I have ever made, and I wouldn't recommend this program to my worst enemy.

The pros of my program are that it's new so there's a lot of room to grow with the program and build on the program. Another pro about my program is that the student population is very diverse which aids in diverse perspectives of the world in general. We are located in great area for career opportunities. Very knowledgeable professors who have had great experiences globally and nationally in public health. Read More networking, internships, etc. There's a lack of professor-student relationships; professors are over worked leading to less time to spend getting to help students and develop them. High professor turnover rate. Students can tell when the college is trying to cut corners (i.e. using adjunct professors to save money, while the professor who was to teach originally is the best person for the job).
