George Mason University's Masters of Public Administration is of a good value for students interested in pursuing a career in Public Service. Uniquely situated in the bustling DC metroplex, George Mason offers unparalleled academic and professional opportunities. I am a second-year student in the MPA program and I've been impressed with the caliber of discussion in the classroom and the opportunities afforded to students because of our location and strong alumni network.

Graduate School is what you make of it. GMU offers many outlets for whatever students are looking for: social life, academic clubs and organizations, internships, job opportunities, networking, and various alternative academic opportunities such as studying abroad and the peace corps. The MPA program is flexible, informative, and very useful--especially in the greater DC area. I have no doubts that it will serve me well in my future. I would've liked a little more hands-on time with professors but... Read More
