Like many of the reviewers mentioned, 4 week long classes are very intense and you have to spend 20+ hours of studying each week, sometimes a lot more than that. You have to do the work and earn your grade. For Masters program the minimum acceptable grade is a B. The 4 week long classes aren’t for everyone. Some people may not learn well this way but I find this learning style better personally than juggling between 5 classes per semester (did that during undergrad). All my professors were highly... The financial aid process is horrible. They do not know what they are doing. They keep students waiting forever to get the reward. After accepting the reward, they keep students waiting forever again for disbursement. On top of waiting, they keep sending the invoice to students demanded payment or will being dropped. When students call for the update, they run students around with all untruth information. School needs to have better financial aid teams who can be able to work efficiently and accurately.... Accounting program in San Diego campus was great for me and I took some online classes as well. Very solid program and great instructors. I highly recommend the MS in Accounting program, especially for CPA candidates. One class per month setup worked for me, focusing one class at the time was better. Some students find it fast and compacted but it worked for me very well. Many Instructors had CPA license and great industry experiences.

This "university" is a fraud. They will bait you in and take the student loan money. They provide zero support and the education is not worth it at all. I have no idea how they are accredited. I checked them out and then lost big time. I would not suggest anyone give this school a penny.

Right before you step into the real world. It's not easy but not that hard either.

The faculty at NU really care about the students. They are available during evenings and weekends to help online students with their classes. The course work is relevant to current jobs that employers are looking for. The students attending the classes are career focused and like-minded.

Pros: Can pretty much study anywhere. Classmate and instructor interaction is required through discussion boards and live chat sessions. Cons: Wish the program was a mixture of online and in-class instead of completely all online.
