I enjoy the online classes. The professors are thorough and help make it clear their expectations and requirements. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Reaching counselors and department heads for advice is easy, and I have always received timely responses to my inquiries. The school keeps you up to date with your requirements and makes sure you feel welcomed and up to date with important information.

My degree is English with an emphasis on Professional Writing. I can't really comment on anything relating to the campus life because I attend online, though I've heard Flagstaff is beautiful. The pros are that the program is small and very communal. The professors and advisors are always there to help and assist you in your professional career any way that they can. Online work is accessible and rigorous. Stellar learning atmosphere. Some professors are not very personable or understanding.

The graduate programs are very accessible, but the admissions process is long and important classes fill up before you can register.

I've been quite impressed by the quality of my online program at NAU. The classes are demanding yet manageable, and the professors strike a good balance between traditional teaching methods and using the technology at their disposal.

This is a great program. I took it as an online student, and the asynchronous class mixed with a very responsive crew of faculty and administration made this the perfect degree for me. It also offers a wide range of study topics, from technical writing, rhetoric, literature, education, to discourse theory.
