Overall I feel very optimistic about the graduate program I am currently enrolled. I plan to obtain a residency in psychiatric pharmacy after completing my Doctor of Pharmacy and have already started research with the residency director at NSU. Read More two different sites in West Palm Beach and Ponce, Puerto Rico. The professors all have an open door policy, making it easy to create relationships with faculty members. The program not only focuses on teaching future pharmacists their role in the health care industry but also the skills we need to be leaders in the industry. They try to teach students how to put up a professional front which is an ever so important component in the health care system. Although NSU is not one of the top rated pharmacy schools as they are not a huge research university, I do feel their focus on our education is outstanding.

Studying pharmacy at Nova Southeastern university has its pros and cons. Pros: Area of south Florida is nice and full of things to do. Its close to home to those of us that are from Miami. The college is mixed in with other health professionals so we can interact with other students in other programs. Workload is manageable and many professors are caring and approachable.
