Degree: Counseling

Regent University is an exceptional example of an institution with a Christ-focused education as well as a holistic curriculum. Although I am only one semester into my education, I am confident that the Lord led me to this university. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling (on the Clinical Mental Health track with a School Counseling certificate) within the School of Psychology and Counseling. Regent's counseling program is CACREP-accredited, which means that students receive the... Read More

I love Regent University. The graduate programs are very rich in information and the professors have years and years of experience in the field. The professors have vast knowledge about what it takes to make it after graduating and I really enjoy that. Regent has many resources for you during your graduate journey!

Degree: Counseling

I am returning to school to receive a Master's after being out of college for 10 years. I have been interested in Regent, specifically the psychology school, since I moved to VA 5 years ago. So far, the school and program seem to be a great fit for me. One of the great things about my particular program (Human Services Counseling), is that because it is a one-year, online course, it is giving me the confidence I need to feel I can accomplish this degree. It is also giving me the opportunity to see... Read More

The major advantage of Regent University is the integration of Christian values into the program content. Most professors truly care for the students academically, emotionally, and spiritually. The disadvantages of Regent University are the lack of student activities and the high cost of living in the area.

Degree: Counseling

Regent University's M.A. In Counseling program has some of the best professionals in the industry as professors. The professors and staff are informed, available and encouraging. I wish there were more scholarship opportunities in order to cut down on my student loan debt.

Regent University is a CACREP nationally accredited program that delivers cutting edge and extremely updated education and school services. Their professors are devoted to their craft and extremely dedicated to producing students that have become well engrossed and highly competent in their field of study. The surrounding area is beautiful and the campus itself is a stunning display of artistic and creative ability. I have very much enjoyed my graduate studies with the University thus far and look... Degree: Counseling

One strength of Regent University's MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is its ability to provide a quality curriculum that makes its students competitive within the overall job market for LPCs (Licensed Professional Counselors). A con of the program (and University, itself) is the lack of financial aid and scholarships/funding available for masters-level students.
