This is a great university to attend, classes are small and the professor are hands on. If you are a dedicated and motivated student the professor will be willing to assist you through your college journey. The university staff is also great! The financial aid office is also willing to assist you through your financial needs.

While the BBA program at SHSU is educational, much of the MBA program is a repeat and allows few concentrations outside of the standard fields. If you're looking to enhance your knowledge and/or get a Concentration in Economics, forget about this university. If you paid attention in your undergraduate courses and simply want an MBA, then this may be what you want.

I love this university. Every person that I have worked with in financial aid, advising, and the college and of business have been nothing but helpful.

Emphasis on business communication allows the student to advance in business writing, a lost form in today's fast paced business world. This program allows the student to outshine their competition in the business world.

The university is switching to "competitive" online university by offering the vast majority of the graduate program online; however, at this time, the faculty have not been trained in online teaching and are therefore "teaching" these courses as correspondence courses. There is little advanced learning taking place and the majority of the class material seems to be a review of the undergraduate level. I did attend SHSU for my undergraduate level as well and it was great. As an alumni already, I... Read More
