I loved going to school at Sam Houston university. It's so beautiful in Huntsville and everyone is helpful and nice. The teachers are helpful and willing to work with you in order for you to succeed in their classes. All the students are nice and willing to study with you.

One of the very best school in the nation for Criminal justice program! Earned my BS and MA in the school with WORLD CLASS scholars! The school is no joke and will hold your feet to the fire, but you will be good as gold! I was immediately admitted to the PhD program after my graduation and published in peer-reviewed journal. The Master's Degree program at SHSU has been extremely intense, especially for an online program. It is not for the faint of heart. The professors genuinely care about the well being of their students, and they provide rigorous course material to help prepare you for real world dilemmas.

The graduate program that I am participating in Is rated as one of the best in the country for Criminal Justice. The faculty and staff are extremely diverse and easy to work with. The program Is both challenging and rewarding. At this time, I do not have any "cons" to report.

I'm currently enrolled in the online graduate program through Sam Houston State and continuing my education in the same degree as my bachelors; Criminal Justice. The only major con that I have in regards to my graduate program is one of my classes just assigns reading assignments in the book and tests over it; no others means of learning such as videos or voice recordings are available, which is unlike what I've experienced with other online courses. I love the fact that my entire graduate experience will take place on-line. The admission process was easy and the quality of their advisors is top notch. I haven't had any problems with the technical aspects of receiving my education on-line. I'd recommend Sam Houston State University to any student wishing to pursue an advanced degree.

SHSU's online MS in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management is a great program for working professionals. I couldn't rate many of the listed categories, because the program is 100% online. Classes are interesting, tuition is reasonable, and faculty and tech support for distance learners is superb.
