I feel bad when I see all these negative reviews. I am completely satisfied with the MSN education I paid for and completed. The courses were well constructed and my professors were responsive and encouraging. In comparison with the MSN degrees offered in our community, South University offers an excellent education.

The most unprofessional staff. They lie constantly to cover up their inadequacies. They help up my scholarship dollars for over 3 months. Numbers to departments are not listed. The 3 numbers you're provided do not return your call. The instructors are unavailable.

Worst nursing school ever! Only cared about money and payment. Couldn't even get transcript bc I was on payment plan/student loan and didn't pay in full up front. Had to talk to high level manager and beg for one copy. Would not recommend!!! Go somewhere else if you are in nursing!

There were times that things seemed to be acceptable with South University, but there were so many problems as well. With more than one course, the website issues were terrible: old links, old references, outdated schedules, wrong links to other sites, dates that were posted wrong constantly, etc. One instructor was demeaning, rude, negative, and spiteful; she was the worst instructor I have ever had. With one test, there was a new format that had a second page to a test; I did not notice the second... Read More

DIY FNP program do not expect any assistance in the completion of your FNP through South University. The worse was the staff who are paid to assist you in setting up your practicum rotations after you find the site and preceptor. When you finally receive a response to concerns it is most often incomplete. I cannot recommend this University to anyone. It appears they are interested in your money, not your education. I am a veteran so I am used to getting screwed over, however at South University they... Read More

Disappointed

Please avoid this college. They do not tell you anything for discounts until too late. Had nothing together. The program director is rude and obnoxious and not committed to helping you. The instructors are awful. We lost over half of the class that started if that gives you indication of how this place is terrible for Nurse Practitioner. Go online. Stay away from here.

The parking and student lounge sucks! We have 10 hour long days and can't eat in the classroom. First school I ever attended and the graduate level students are treated like kids
