I really enjoy the Elliot school because of the programs flexibility in choosing classes and for having said classes in the evening; allowing students to work during the day. The cons are mainly concerned with the very few fellowships available for IR students

The Security Policy Studies program at George Washington University is one-of-a-kind. Not only do students receive a world class competitive education, but they leave GWU with formal training in professional public policy-oriented skills that give them a head start in entering the workplace.

Overall, I feel that my program excels at providing a well-rounded study of International Affairs at the graduate level. However, it is difficult to determine where we will all fit in after graduating.

The faculty in my program truly care about the student as a whole--not just what you can do academically, but how well you can manage your professional and personal life in conjunction with your academics.
