I am very grateful to have heard of their self paced competency based, fully online Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program. I enrolled in it back in September 2024 and I graduated a month ago. The six month subscriptions makes tuition very affordable. My academic advisor, Scott, was excellent. I was always able to keep in touch with him and be enrolled in a new set of courses after completion of the graded ones. I believed that each of my classes were challenging and prepared me for... Read More my current career and even for job interviews. I believe that this program focuses greatly on business oriented topics. The only downside I did not like was in February 2025, when one of my professors went on vacation for the entire month and there was difficulty with knowing who would take his place in grading assignments until he returned. However, once my other teachers took their vacation, I was informed about their departure ahead of time and was also giving the contact information of who would be their fill-in. I am happy to have succeed and graduated from UMASS Global with an MAOL.

I was really happy when I was in my Masters program at Umass (Masters in Education). It was a great experience. However, when I went back to school to take course through the extended learning department it became a complete nightmare. I honestly can not remember every terrible little thing that happened but some of the highlights include Umass writing me that my course was graded and then not putting in on my transcript. Another terrible highlight is when I paid additional money for units and they... Read More never gave them to me, but wrote me an email that they had given me the credit. The best part is when they gave me $7 dollars back on credit as a gesture of letting me know they have "refunded" me for my troubles. Honestly, it was kind of insulting (like they threw a penny back at me after I had suffered financial lost and paid them so much). As a result, of all of these errors on their part I missed my pay raise at my district now twice. And to top it off, when I called my district today, they noted that they "never received any transcripts." So much for the $7 dollar refund. Looks like they just cancelled my order and chose not to send anything. At this point I have lost so much money from missing all my raises due to their lack of professionalism and competency. This university robs people and does not deliver the products that people pay a lot of money for. They can not fix a problem even by the third or fourth time of trying to correct it. If you attend this university and have a problem, expect a lot of trouble trying to fix it. So far no refund. You'd think they'd have given me one by the third or fourth time I tried to fix it and they still couldn't deliver me the products I paid for. I'll let you know if they give me one. I will update this post to let you know what happens next or if they ever do fix this. So far the time span of trying to have this fixed has been about 5-6 months total. Hopefully by the end of the year it is fixed, if not, I'm calling a lawyer.

One Stop Specialists and financial aid people are a complete joke and pretty sure they have no idea what they are doing most of the time. Incapable of answering questions same day lucky if you get an answer within a week. This college will do anything to keep your federal financial aid for as long as they can including erasing previous work that you mastered and telling you a month later you have to redo it because they had technical issues even when you have proof that class was completed and will... Read More continue to blame you for their screw ups and withhold your financial aid. Do yourself a favor and just report them to the Department of Education and Veterans Administration. All they have is excuses after excuses. I do not recommend this college to anyone including my fellow military veterans and active duty team mates.

I did the Masters in counseling with a PPS Credential, for school counseling program. When it said that I was getting a Master's in counseling I thought it would qualify me to continue to go on to get Licensed as a clinical counselor after the program. However that is not the case with this program! This program is great if you want only the PPS Credential. I have to take a whole other masters if I want to work specifically in mental health with students. Because schools are hiring LPCCs and MFTs... Read More and LCSWs this degree is only relevant if you want to be an elementary school counselor or an academic school counselor. Most programs are a combination of MFT and PPS. This is not. I recommend doing the LPCC program instead. I did not get the help or the advice I needed from my academic advisor or my faculty when I began asking about licensure. They did not even tell me this school has an LPCC program.

I began this journey in 2018, with Brandman University. I am now in the home stretch, with UMASS Global. I am an older adult learner who was petrified to be back at school. And yet to my surprise, I was learning so much and enhancing the knowledge I already had. I feel the instructors/professors are all very knowledgeable, professional, willing to help all students. I am from Massachusetts, and live ten minutes away from UMASS Dartmouth, so it was huge for me to know that I would be graduating from UMASS Global. I also could not be any happier with my Student Advisor, Kristina King! She is the best Advisor I could have ever been placed with. She responds to my emails within an hour to two hours, regardless of time zone differences. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and full of positivity. She is fantastic! I am proud to be graduating this year from this school. I believe you will receive the education that you are willing to work for. Online learning is slightly difficult at first, yet once you understand the expectations, it is a great experience.

For those speaking on Chapman, Brandman is soon to become apart of UMass. I would personally recommend my program to people but can't speak on any other degrees or programs. I've had great, helpful and knowledgeable Professors (many from Chapman) & OneStop/Financial aid are helpful. I will say that sometimes the bare minimum is assigned leaving the student to research a lot on their own, but that's not a problem for me as that's why I chose an online program. If you feel you're not being challenged, challenge yourself. Nothing's stopping you. Any online program, YOU have to do the work. If you need a Professor to hold your hand, choose a different school/program.

I'm a recent grad and proud alumnus of Brandman University. The staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful. In my experience, Brandman employs experienced and well-qualified professors in their respective fields to instruct the courses, which lends to a rich learning environment. I had a great experience from initial enrollment inquiry up until graduation. Thanks to the G.I. Bill and this school's participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program, I was able to load up on as many courses that I could... Read More handle to fast-track my graduation. Most people outside of the military probably have not heard of Brandman University until ads started making their rounds on the web, but the fact that they carry the Chapman heritage helps out with the school's identity. People that are familiar with Chapman are more than likely familiar with Brandman, which is quite alright because both institutions are respectable and regarded as quality institutions. The degree has helped to advance my career which is invaluable to me than what others believe about a college education.

This is not a Chapman education. To say that Brandman is part of the Chapman "system" is, in my opinion, misleading. I can't speak to the undergrad or master's program but Brandman does not offer a quality doctoral program. I would not recommend it unless you just long for a degree and not a solid doctoral education experience with credible outcomes. I doubt anyone in the academic community will mistake a Brandman doctoral degree for a Chapman degree. I did not graduate from Brandman. I discovered... Most of all, don't settle for Brandman because you're not sure of your ability to get into a good school. There are plenty of good schools out there. Find one.
