The University of Cincinnati was my home for 6 years, 4 years of undergrad and 2 years of graduate school. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in voice at CCM while I was there. I can confidently say that it is one of the best institutions in the country, and is deserving of all the praise it receives. The faculty are top notch!

I absolutely loved my time at the University of Cincinnati while I obtained my degree in Early Childhood Education. Unlike other colleges and universities, I had the opportunity to student teach in three different grades at various schools in Cincinnati (suburban public, urban public, and private).
This gave me the tools and experiences I needed to truly be successful in my career, especially my first year teaching!
The curriculum and professors were top notch. Ten years after graduation, and I still... Read More

While I didn't start my academic journey at UC, I did not have the experience at the other schools that I did at UC. They made me into a strong learner and researcher, and made my family proud as they are all Alumni as well. I was able to graduate on track even with the mid-spring transfer, and they were able to still utilize the credits for my library informatics and black studies and merge it into the interdisciplinary tract so that I wouldn't fall behind my cohort.

I loved my time at the University of Cincinnati. The urban environment was always eventful - you're in the heart of Cincinnati, a great, historic city. Many people worry about this fact because they assume it means it is dangerous due to the crime statistics in urban environments. This is no longer the case. UC is like a bubble in the city thanks to university population and police department. As far as the education, I highly recommend the programs covered in the co-op program, as the experience... For the most part I enjoyed the time I spent at the University of Cincinnati. I thought the class offerings were extremely varied, and I had good experiences with almost all of my professors. I was a commuter student, so that changed the perspective of some things a bit, as most things in college are geared towards students who live on campus. I wish some things (such as recitation classes, study groups, etc), were scheduled with commuter students in mind.

It’s a big and active campus. However financial and emotional support has been low in my opinion. Phd students are underpaid and overworked. We work like full time employees but are not paid a living wage. This makes it difficult to live in a city like Cincinnati. I have never been more financially stressed.

Overall experience was hampered at the end. I would say the MBA program is not well designed for international students. Initially I was told I was eligible for CPT. After I got a job offer, I applied for my CPT, and then they informed me, by just a sorry, that the program does not support or is not designed for internship. It was a big blow and I found myself in a soup. I had a great experience at University of Cincinnati during the coursework, no complaints about the professors or the teaching.... Read More

As a student with both a learning and physical disability, UC has done nothing but make college a difficult experience. The accessibility office is unhelpful and discouraging. They leave information out that could be critical to a students success and refuse to give them the help they need to succeed. After having my grades slip due to missed classes for medical reasons, the accessibility office refused to help with the issue and we had to get an attorney involved. We are now almost 6 weeks into... Read More

The University of Cincinnati is an excellent university, especially for engineering. Education: The professors here really care and want each student to succeed. Very rarely have I encountered a truly bad professor. The courses great too, very applicable experiences you will encounter in the real world. Co-op is something that every student should consider no matter their major. University of Cincinnati offers co-op credit for both research and laboratory work as well as professional industry experience.... Read More

The University of Cincinnati is a great college. I have made some of the best friends I can find at this school and the organizations I have joined have helped shaped me into the leader I am today. Cincinnati, with the help of the co-op program, is a great school to help you stay financially stable throughout your time here.

Neuropsychology is a great path to take at the University of Cincinnati if you are interested in how psychology is directly impacted by the function of the brain. This major offers courses in Gen Eds such as biology, chemistry and basic math classes. Later on it delves deeper into neuroscience, research and many different types of psychology. Your first year will be mostly general education but into your second, third and fourth year, classes get more specified and definitely more on the track of... Read More

I had the greatest experience in my undergrad at the University of Cincinnati. I enjoyed it so much, I was inspired to continue my higher education career with my master's degree. This school has an incredible support system of students, faculty, and staff. Everyone is truly a part of a strong and beautiful community all working together to be successful. If I could go back to choosing a college, I would choose University of Cincinnati every time.

The university of Cincinnati is growing immensely and is becoming a major competitor to previously renown universities such at THE Ohio State University. UC gives students a great social atmosphere as well as an amazing education with highly accredited programs such as their Linder Business College and DAAP.
