Not only are the professors always willing to help you with school work and other professional needs, the career development office is super helpful as are the many other resources available to you. The only way to fail is to not use these resources.

I am currently enrolled in the University of Houston Law Center as a 1L. There are so many awesome things about University of Houston Law but one that really stands out is the faculty and staff support. They know that you are paying boatloads to go back to school and they really want to see you succeed. The teachers all have J.Ds so they know what it's like to take on law school and seeing their students do well truly means something to them. The assistance from faculty and staff is unbelievable. You feels like you're not alone. The career development office is so helpful: they assist you in being successful as an intern and with finding a job after graduation. The networking opportunities provided are enormous. Every resource you need is provided by the Law Center. The only way to fail at UHLC is not to take the initiative to ask for help.

A great school, tied to the healthcare and energy industries. It has great connections to the local community and has a strong alumni base. Great education, but facilities are lacking and could use an overhaul.

As an incoming student for the fall semester, I am extremely excited to start at U of H Law Center. I think as of now the pros are the career services center, abundance of experienced professors, their clinics, and the dynamic of the student body. As for cons I can only think that the building and facilities are a bit dated and that the surrounding area isn't in the best area of town.

The University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) has an amazing Intellectual Property Law program that ranks among the top 5 in the nation. The school's tuition, which comes at a fraction of the cost of competing schools, makes UHLC a great value for students looking to work in the legal field in Texas.
