I officially withdrew because of the constant disorganization with my class and the university. I officially withdrew MONTHS ago but continue to get emails asking for my updated contact information. I received another email today asking to provide my contact information so that "we can discuss current deadlines and registration. How difficult is it to correct records to show that I officially withdrew. I also submitted comments saying that I would NEVER re-enroll. I am convinced that the emails are... Read More

I should have done more research, because now I am stuck at UMGC. It is a diploma mill. The professors are not real professors, some do not even check into the classroom on a regular basis. I had a "professor" who went on vacation during the quarter, and did not check-in with the class for over a week! If you complain to the department, nothing changes. Also, the course resources are outdated. Current changes in the law are not taught. If you want a quality education, go to a different school.

My college is outstanding. The courses are challenging but they prepare you for your career. The professors are knowledgeable and responsive. They eliminated textbooks to alleviate the extra cost to students. All of the class materials are online and the convenience of that is unmatched.

I am a first year graduate student. Thus far, the communication from the school and its advisors has been amazing. They have provided me with great assistance to start me on my journey of becoming a graduate student. I look forward to continuing my education with the school and becoming an alumni.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my masters program so far. I have an anticipated completion date of May 2018. I am a single mother of 2, and this education institution has awarded me the opportunity to continue my education, while allowing me to complete my coursework on my own time schedule. The school no longer requires textbooks, which The instructors are knowledgeable, and offer material which is easy to digest. I appreciate the discussion forum which allows students to present their viewpoints on... Read More

I am attending UMUC currently to obtain my Masters in Business Management- Human Resources. I really like taking courses online. Most of the professors are very helpful and understand that most of their students are also working professionals. I would highly recommend this program to working adults.

UMUC is a program that has a lot to offer, but only if you're willing to work. It is a program that if you devote the time and energy necessary you will get a lot from it. The MBA program is a bit pricey for me. Also, the materials sometimes does not seem to fit the course; zero quality control on online materials; forced paper based exams; unresponsive administration.
