I officially withdrew because of the constant disorganization with my class and the university. I officially withdrew MONTHS ago but continue to get emails asking for my updated contact information. I received another email today asking to provide my contact information so that "we can discuss current deadlines and registration. How difficult is it to correct records to show that I officially withdrew. I also submitted comments saying that I would NEVER re-enroll. I am convinced that the emails are... Read More part of UMGC's very misinformed strategy to maintain or increase its enrollment numbers. I repeat, I will NEVER re-enroll!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my masters program so far. I have an anticipated completion date of May 2018. I am a single mother of 2, and this education institution has awarded me the opportunity to continue my education, while allowing me to complete my coursework on my own time schedule. Read More the weekly material, this has offered me a different broader viewpoint on topics which I may not have considered. The coursework has enabled me to have a well-rounded and detailed insight on the current laws, policies, compensation, valuable talent, and other core objectives within the Human Resource area. The courses are shortened in comparison to other universities, 12 weeks as opposed to the typical 16 weeks. Though terms are shortened the material is just as in-depth. As to be expected, there is a large amount of writing, yet it is an online course so that is to be expected. With a strictly online platform it is certainly expected that students perform at their optimal best for a desired grade. There is a large military and government employee/ personnel presence at this academic institution. I found it amazing to interact with people who are established in a career field that I am working towards. The school offers career mentor opportunities which I believe is fantastic at guiding you into penetrating a new career fields. I appreciate all this school has to offer, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an online learning institution.
