The University of Phoenix is an online university that makes it easy for those who work and are juggling other life situations like parenting simultaneously, to obtain credentials. The instructors at this particular school were easy to get in contact with and the course syllabi though challenging were always clear, making the course requirements easy to complete.

Great experience in getting my degree. I was able to work fulltime, take care of my family and complete school. The university academic counselors worked with me from financial aid to scheduling. They stayed in contact with me once a month for encouragement and any needed assistance. The coursework was quite enjoyable as most of it was relatable to the workforce I was in. I highly recommend for working adults.

Degree: Cybersecurity

The overall status of attending the University of Phoenix has been excellent. All preferred coursework within the Cybersecurity field covers essential factors for managing and mitigating specific cyber threats for the organization you will be accountable for safeguarding. The accessibility of assignments has been fairly simple to utilize. Classmates have been very exceptional in their ability to present sufficient experience to understand the unique aspects of a security framework.

The doctoral journey has been challenging but fulfilling. I feel I am learning and becoming the expert I want to be. I appreciate being able to use what I learn at my organization as I work on my degree. The instructors have been knowledgeable and are always willing to help the students be successful.

As a busy full-time supervisor in the healthcare sector, I was looking for something manageable. The competency based program they offer was a perfect fit. The material was relevant to current business models and although I was familiar with some of the content (because of my day to day responsibilities) there was a lot I didn't know. The instructors were great and so were the mentors; which made it nice to have another person to lean on. My academic advising team was great too, checked in to make... Read More

UOPX has been the absolute best! Even when times got hard, missed a good bit of class and was dropped. However, UOPX went above and beyond to get me back on track and right where I left off at! Thank you guys for being so awesome. You guys are the absolute best.

I would recommend university of phoenix to anyone looking to further their education. I’ve had a great experience and look forward to continuing on to my bachelor degree. I have had a lovely experience with all of my instructors and learning how to navigate the classroom was very easy.

The college is great. Always someone to get with. If not understand the course much they have a tutor program. You can always ask your classmates or professors for help. I have referred people to the college. Chapters are easy to get what they request from Zybook or of course the college library. If I can do it at 55 I know younger folks can do it.

I have had a great experience at UOP. The only thing I would like to change is being able to double up on my classes. As sometimes I am available to do more. It would of helped me out on getting done sooner rather than later. The only other downfall I encountered was when HR or someone would call me, I would always get a different person. This caused confusion on what was going on in my program and it got frustrating. I work and I would get a call at work where I could not answer. When I would call... Read More

My education with UofPx was ok. The last year I struggled with staying motivated and received zero help from the school with this and career help. Now I am looking at $68k in debt, in the same job as before, and have no idea how i will afford to pay this off, ever. Really kinda regretting this decision.

The best advice I can give is to make sure you do research before choosing a school to attend. Had I done my research properly, I wouldn’t be attending Univ of Phoenix. The tuition costs are high and a lot of the credits for classes I have already completed aren’t recognized by other universities, so I’m stuck!

I really enjoy attending online classes at the University of Phoenix because it gives me the flexibility to work, be a mom, and still further my education. The online format allows me to manage my schedule around my responsibilities while continuing to grow academically and professionally. I don’t have to choose between providing for my family and pursuing my goals. It gives me the opportunity to build a better future for myself and my child while staying present in our daily life.

My experience in the University of Phoenix DBA program has been excellent, and I’d give it 5/5. The biggest reason is communication—I’ve felt supported and informed throughout the process. Doctoral programs can be overwhelming when instructions are vague or support is hard to reach, but that hasn’t been my experience here.

I’ve consistently been able to get clarification when needed, expectations have been communicated in a way that’s easy to follow, and the feedback I receive helps me improve instead... Read More

The level of support and academic resources at this university is mind-blowing. I have never experienced something like this. I started with a certificate program and loved it. Now I'm in a bachelor's degree program and doing great. If I complete this and love it as much I might just pursue a master's degree.

This I/O Psychology program has had a lot of great information. At the time of this review I am 9 weeks away from completing the program. My only complaint is not everyone will take a job as a trainer or instructor. In my opinion the program is extremely too heavy with PowerPoint assignments and other types of assignments should be given to help students learn the material.
