The professors are incredible, and I still keep in touch. So if you're going to go, take advantage of your access to the faculty! The tuition is absurd, and random charges will be added to your account that you'll only be told about later. The financial aid office is quick to take money slow to let you know about aid. Very few scholarship opportunities and again with the random charges. The MPH school is a building off campus, it's not pretty or in a convenient location like the undergrad campus... Read More

I'm currently enrolled as an online MPH student at USC, and the program is fantastic! As the spouse of an active duty military member, it's been extremely difficult to find a prestigious college that I can attend because we move so often. This program is not only at a great college, but is taught by the same wonderful professors who teach the courses in person at the school. The program encompasses all the basics of MPH, but also how to apply these concepts and skills to the real world instead of... Read More

The Online MPH program at the University of Southern California is built for busy adults. Even though the class is online, the program is as rigorous and dense as on-campus courses. The constant interaction via course discussion boards and virtual classes help bridge the connection between you and your classmates. The professors and their TAs also make themselves readily available for guidance and support.

The University of Southern California online Masters of Public Health program has been an amazing experience in furthering my career as a health professional. I am hundreds of miles away from the physical campus however I have still had access to endless resources and networking opportunities throughout the program. The faculty are all amazing and passionate to help students truly succeed in their future careers. I thoroughly enjoyed my educational experience with USC and would absolutely recommend... Read More

Pros: Close to downtown LA (entertainment, dining, etc) Learn a lot from the program, supportive staff If interested in working with underserved populations, then a lot of options Tram/Bus service is excellent Cons: Campus is unsafe at night Minimal eating options most of which are unhealthy Small library with only one bathroom for 3 floors No nearby grocery/convenience stores Expensive with little to no financial aid for most students Gym is off campus (need to take bus) On campus housing doesn't... The USC Online MPH program is a great program that allows students to work full time and get a quality education. It is surprisingly very collaborative and students are able to interact and work together on projects.

I don't have an extensive list of pros and cos of my graduate program. However, from what I can ascertain thus far, the program lacks scholarships and fellowship opportunities. This is disappointing since USC prides it self as an institution that helps its students fund their education. On the other hand, the administrative staff of my program have been accessible and available to answer questions.

USC is a great school! They definitely make you feel proud to be a part of the Trojan family. Because I am doing online coursework, I have a very different view than a lot of my colleagues. The support I have received is excellent in my academic career and my only complaint is that financial aid is pretty scarce.

This online program is great. While it's still in its earliest stage, I think it is a great online option for a Masters in Public Health.

My program is not listed- Master of Science in Global Medicine. I am unable to select it from the list and the "other" option is not working. I found my education very valuable and felt that I was constantly supported by staff, faculty, and my peers. As this program is targeted primarily for pre-medical or other pre-professional students, I appreciated the reality of the workload. I feel that I am better prepared to take on the next step of my education in pursing a Medical Degree. The most memorable... Read More

The MPH graduate program was comprehensive and all courses required were relative to one another, which made for various ties as well as the strengthening of information already gathered. The major con of the MPH graduate program was the cost of courses. Another con was the new, not as effective building that houses our MPH courses. However, I am sure that improvements are being made.
