The USC campus is extremely beautiful and safe. Although areas outside the gates of campus can be suspect. The MHA program is extremely competitive to get into and the education and faculty quality are very good. The workload in the first year is very doable and the residency in the second year adds to the overall experience. The Trojan network is very important and such a great resource. They want you to come out of the program with a job offer. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at the Sol Price school... Read More

So far, I have very much enjoyed being an MPA student. The curriculum is rigorous yes, but the support from fellow students, as well as from staff and faculty helps make it manageable. The MPA at USC Price is truly a top program that applies practice into theory. You'll be given real-life situations from what you learn in the classroom and I couldn't be happier. The pro of the program is that it is one of the best programs for a Master of Public Administration in the country. There are no current cons I can come up with.

USC offers excellent networking opportunities and career services. I get personalized attention from staff and faculty and feel like I'm part of a family here. It's thrilling to be among so many diverse and passionate people. The neighborhood is getting better, but still is not great. It is expensive, but an all together good value and investment.

Faculty and staff are always willing to help. One of the best features that Price has to offer is the fact that it has its own career services office which means all the information received is geared toward the program of study. The course selection is great and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and to immediately start networking. Program is expensive and financial aid consists primarily of loans--however, it is definitely worth it.
