Instructors are great and lessons are very helpful. The lectures are extremely useful. Great attitudes. If you have questions they respond to you quickly. I would gladly recommend UMA to anyone interested in furthering their education. Online schooling is very convenient if you can't get to an actual campus.

I honestly didn’t like the school. The communication with councilors was weird and never called back. Class was boring and just weird vibes overall. I tried to like it but I just could not. Tried a few courses but the communication was what made me leave.

For those of you that are considering attending Rasmussen online University you should know that it requires you to be 'self motivated'. This means, you're not going to be spoon fed information from your instructors. There is content organized each week for you as the student to view, read, or watch videos so that you understand assignments that will be due typically by the following Sunday. You are responsible for your own learning. There will most likely only be once a week where your instructor... Read More

Ultimate Medical Academy is a great institution. The online program (Health & Human Services) definitely ensures that every health care professional is equipped and prepared for a career after graduation. The advisors and instructors are hands on and they assure me throughout the courses that they are always available for questions and/or concerns that I may have. Let me start off by saying that the instructors I had were friendly people and I never had an issue with any of my classes. I had fair graders and the instructors were very nice people. That being said, 9 months into my program at Rasmussen, I am "dropping out." When I signed up with Rasmussen, I was told that program was for an Associates degree that would transfer to a Bachelor's program. They failed to mention that it is actually an Associates of Applied Science degree, meaning your credits won't... Read More

I loved everything about the school, except for one one person that ruined my entire experience. Instructors were great! Classes were fantastic! But this person is in the registrars office, is a slimy, dishonest, extremely inconsistent snake!!!! Steer clear of her if you can. Shell act like your best friend to your face and on the phone, then turn around and do the exact opposite of what she was going to do. And Im not the only person who feels this way. I have been in contact with other students,... Read More

Going to Rasmussen was the best decision of my life. The classes are applicable to the real-world work environment. The Instructors are outstanding, and the staff the friendliest in the world. I have decided to go on for my Bachelor's degree at Rasmussen. This is the first College that I know where every one who works for them or with them want only one thing; for every student to succeed.

First of all, people that bad mouth this school probably went to this school expecting it to be easy because I thought online schooling would be easier than attending a campus. My sister is going to a college located in my town and she is also an online student and I compared my their online learning system to UoP; OLS with UoP is way more active than the one the local college have. Also, for you people that did not know, UoP helped other schools set up ther Online Learning System.

I earned an associate degree at a local community college before enrolling at Liberty. As such, I enrolled in Liberty's online program having previously experienced a traditional academic classroom environment. I attended Liberty full-time and did every class online. I earned my B.S. in Religion in May of 2012.

I'll be honest, I was skeptical about online education at first but after the first semester I was highly satisfied - so I continued on. I must say I am very impressed with Liberty. My classes... Read More

Comparing both a classroom and online environment is not easy - both have their pros and cons - however, I believe that my online education at Liberty was just as good, if not better, that my classroom education. It seems that most people put this school down because of it's religious stance.

However, the school is blunt about it's Christian faith so it's difficult to feel sorry for those who attended knowing full well what they were getting in to. Go somewhere else if you're not a Christian. It's that simple.

The University is not a waste of time. I do not know what all of you are complaining about, my instructors and advisors have called me almost everyday to see if everything is going alright and if I need any help. I believe that the ones complaining are the ones who most likely failed classes and just want someone else to blame.

When I was in a classroom setting it was terrible. As for the 400 word papers go, in any college do you think that the instructor actually reads your work? No they do not they... Read More

If you are going into engineering, you need to take the AS degree pathway. I could have been taking my engineering classes a long time ago. A.A. is a complete joke because once you transfer you still have 4 years left to graduate not 2. However, the engineering professors should be fired or have better supervision because why are there so many bad reviews of them? If you want to become a better school, especially because a lot of people do go to UCF, which is known to be a research institution. Why... Read More

This is the only college where you can schedule a meeting with a counselor and they won't even show up at all. Never mind them specifically stating the date and time, as well ignoring calls made regarding to the counselors no show, and no update on their whereabouts. To put it bluntly, College of Southern Nevada (CSN) was my last resort and now I wish it wasn't. Reason being is because CSN has 3 campuses spread throughout the city, and while you might need one class at North Las Vegas there is another one you need that can be only taken at the Henderson campus. The problem is they don't have all the classes you need at one campus which causes many students to take the RTC bus throughout the day sometimes taking 3 to 4 hours depending on which campus you're going...
