Best by Salary Score

Salary Scores compare schools' alumni earnings to determine which produces top-earning graduates across majors. Using this metric, we assign letter grades to each school, with an A+ meaning alumni tend to have higher salary outcomes than those at other schools. The earnings data used in our Salary Score is based on early career salaries four years after completing a degree. Great School, Graduated 2013

Attended: Career Point College

I loved this school! From the teachers, to the other students, it was a great experience. I loved how the program let me go at my own pace. There were a few classes that were quicker than others, but I loved all of them. Especially the medical coding! Even though I have my medical assisting degree, I plan on contiuning to get an education. I'm just not sure where I'm getting my degree. Several students are getting their Medical Billing and Coding degrees at different schools. If they ever offer the... Read More

UMA has proved itself to be an outstanding school. The instructors are great at what they do, and efficiently teach lessons in a fun and instructive way that keeps learning the material interesting. Having the opportunity to pursue my education online through UMA has allowed me time in my schedule to still go to work during the week and spend time with my family. I am very thankful for this learning opportunity, and hope to soon have some experience for career advancement.

Confused, Graduated 2025

I like the flexibility of school but I just feel like I’m turning in assignments on a deadline. I don’t feel I have taken away anything from my education besides do my work and do well. Professors are just AI people giving assignments and grades but I’m not learning much. Every 8 weeks classes change and I can’t remember one from the other. Financial aid is awful on getting my refund to me as soon as they get it. I wonder why they would hold it for days instead of dispersing it to you. A lot of us... Read More

I personally love UMA. I am able to still be a full time mom while being a full time student as well because of the programs’ flexibility. The instructors and advisers are very supportive, and informative. I think the thing I love the most about UMA is all of the encouragement and support that the team provides. UMA was one of the best choices I have made in a long time.

I failed a class and had a balance of $3000.93 due for it. I had to make a payment in full or make a payment on it or else, my classes would have a hold on them so I withdrew (I was unemployed at the moment because my car was out of service and didnt have money to pay for cabs). One representative was very rude to me telling me it takes two people to communicate and you should have checked your emails regarding this matters and other things, since I told her I took the class in December and wasnt... When I decided to go back to school I knew UMA was the right fit for me. The people here are encouraging and will help you in any way possible. They offer many services to help you with course work as well as with your career. They even help with finding a job for you after completion.
