UMA has proved itself to be an outstanding school. The instructors are great at what they do, and efficiently teach lessons in a fun and instructive way that keeps learning the material interesting. I like the flexibility of school but I just feel like I’m turning in assignments on a deadline. I don’t feel I have taken away anything from my education besides do my work and do well. I personally love UMA. I am able to still be a full time mom while being a full time student as well because of the programs’ flexibility. The instructors and advisers are very supportive, and informative. I think the thing I love the most about UMA is all of the encouragement and support that the team provides. When I decided to go back to school I knew UMA was the right fit for me. The people here are encouraging and will help you in any way possible. They offer many services to help you with course work as well as with your career. They even help with finding a job for you after completion. Great program for an experienced self motivated student. I went through the paramedic to RN program quickly with no difficulty. It was about a 4 month wait for the CPNE and I passed all sections without retakes and NCLEX first try. I now have a great ER job and the degree from Excelsior has not been a problem in career advancement.
