I love love love! Western Governors University. I love the concept; that some students would benefit from a competency based education presented with legitimate instruction, effective support and professional staff. I love my student mentor, Audrey, and her persistence in making sure I completed my classes on continued my education. I don't believe I would have completed the program without her. I love the idea that my ability to complete a course isn't determined by preset semesters or quarters... Read More that arbitrarily dictate how long it will take a student to learn the subject; not taking into account the student's proficiency or lack thereof in each subject. I love that there is a university not driven by money money money. I attended several community colleges which are affordable but often has personnel the resemble other government agencies like DMV, the IRS and state agencies. I attend USC (Univ of Southern California) and I loved it there and really appreciate what I was able to achieve there but I could never shake the fact that my education there was going to cost approximately $150,000 and knowing that the school has billions in cash and even more billions in net assets and still find it necessary to charge higher and higher tuition year after year. I felt hypocritical participating in that system just because I enjoyed the pageantry and history there. WGU is the perfect mix of affordability, student support and effective learning. Overall, I love that I got my degree from WGU and that I'm preparing to start the Masters of Accountancy followed by the MBA program. My only disappointment is that there is no doctorate program. If you're reading this WGU please please please! offer a doctorate program. I would be the first in line.

I got the opportunity to go to both the Rutgers Newark campus as well as the Rutgers New Brunswick campus as well. I enjoyed both campuses but there were significant different between the two due to both the sizes as well as the organizational aspect of both. Newark is a much smaller campus that does benefit from having small classrooms as well as more of a feeling of a community while New Brunswick is significantly smaller and has seemingly endless things to do. The College of Business at ORU has far surpassed my already high expectations. While professors offer challenging, well planned, and effective courses, they do even more outside of the classroom to prepare students for life after graduation. The various clubs, seminars, and internships that have been at my disposal have pushed me to grow and reach my professional goals. In addition to fantastic academics, ORU offers a campus life that is both exciting and encouraging. They do a great job of building community through various events. I have created friendships here that will last a lifetime, and for that I am extremely grateful. While the dining options on campus are less than spectacular, there are plenty of options within a mile of the dorms, and most of them even accept EagleBucks and offer student discounts. ORU has given me the best college experience I ever could have imagined. I will graduate in less than three months and could not be more happy with the choice I made four years ago. I would recommend ORU to anyone that was considering it.

CSULB is a college that will give you the tools necessary to succeed. One of the biggest tools is their networking events and clubs. Utilize these two opportunities and you will have job right out of college. For Majoring in Finance or Accounting, join either Beta Alpha Psi or Accounting Society. There are many other clubs that will help you attain a job before you graduate. USF was a great choice for me because I was working full-time and going to school full-time. They offered classes on campus and online. I was able to combine night classes with online classes and work during the day, Sometimes there was an ocassional Saturday class available. (English) The campus has resaurants and a cafe on campus, so it was easy to pick up lunch without having to drive. Overall, I am satisfied with my education there.

My college experience was very rewarding because I learned a lot and I met some great people in the process. The teachers were very helpful and the curriculum was designed for success. I enjoyed the environment and learned a great deal.

If I chose to go back to school I would choose a different area of study. The accounting field which I am in currently has a lot of stress and it is very easy to burn yourself... Read More out like I did. I would choose a profession based on overall satisfaction and happiness as opposed to what can earn me the most money.
