University of Phoenix is an institution that I am forever grateful towards. As a military spouse, I am constantly moving or undergoing stresfful periods of my life due to my husbands service to this country. University of Phoenix made it possible for me to still work towards a Bachelors degree while working two jobs, being married, moving across the country from Washington State to New York, being pregnant and taking care of my baby while my husband was gone for the first six months. Read More circumstances would have made it impossible for me to physically attend a University, but University of Phoenix allowed me to take breaks when needed and was flexible in working with my schedule. I have now graduated from University of Phoenix with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and am currently enrolling in my first year of graduate school in the Masters of Arts program for Marriage and Family Therapy. University of Phoenix gave me the tools to pursue a higher education while implementing time management skills, academic integrity and perserverence. I am forever thankful.

I''ve been attending Saint Leo off and on for several years, had a few financial aid situations that kept me out of school for almost 2. years. I just graduated with my BS in Psychology. I went to community college for three years then transferred to Walden for the last two. The curriculum is challenging, but well worth it. The professors are professional and are highly educated in their field. I did have one major problem with grading with one professor, but the issue went to the dean and was resolved. I really feel like I earned my degree, and I am now pursuing my MS in Psychology through Walden. One downside-this school is expensive,... Read More but I still felt it was worth the money. When choosing an online school for a bacherlors in psychology, I choose Phoenix, since the accreditation was a little better than other places. However, I believe Phoenix is not the way to go! Although I am receiving my BA and moving to a masters someplace else, if I had decided to stay to only a bachelors, I feel as I have not learned much other than to write better essays!

The professors at Phoenix are more preoccupied with loading students with work, reading material, and writing a clean APA style... Read More essay, rather than the content of the papers. Since I have mattered this writing style, my GPA is very hight, but I feel as I just went through these paper without rememberin much.

Try to get through your academic advisor or financial advisor... Good luck! They respond to their messages days latter and do not resolve anything, specially when dealing with money! I am in the military division which is a little better, but still... - this university is not worth the money, and I only recommend you enroll if you have a LOT of free time and patience to be writtinh papers after papers, nonstop!

I am now enrolled in a Master's program at a highly-regarded university and I am well-prepared as I learned how to be an individual learner, how to seek out answers, and how to manage in an increasingly technological educational world. My advice: carefully evaluate your options, and if online is your best bet, then do the work and put the time in. Read, work to improve your writing, and learn to use available resources if you need help rather than settling. I liked my undergraduate experience. My classes were interesting but grades based mainly on midterm and final exams (multiple choice, short answer. You def. have to be on top of your reading assignments and study for exams. I started with my major and never changed it- I enjoyed every psychology class. Depending on your major- you pretty much have large classes- a lot of lectures and midterm/final. If you want small class discussion- a smaller school woudl be better

The Psychology department at Stockton is great. Most of the professors have their Ph.D.s and are very intelligent. They were helpful with writing letters of recommendation and helping me through the graduate school process. The department is organized and knows what they are doing. I loved the atmosphere of the campus and have great memories surrounding my undergraduate experience there. It was a quality education that wasnt overly expensive. The school itself has some amazing teachers, with some amazing knowledge of the subjects they teach. It is the higher up you go the more problems begin to show. The college continually changes their budget and have recently been cutting programs constantly. Tuition is on the rise and it was already high before then. For some reason they have also decided to force meal plans upon students who are not living on campus now. This is something you have to pay for out of pocket and is not included in financial... Read More aid packages it was $750 a semester, but has risen since 2018. There is also a $300 fee for taking online classes, and this is per class. If a student has to take online courses due to work scheduling or whatever they will be adding up to an additional $1200 a semester.
