Student Reviews of Online Organizational Leadership Programs
I am very grateful to have heard of their self paced competency based, fully online Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program. I enrolled in it back in September 2024 and I graduated a month ago. The six month subscriptions makes tuition very affordable. My academic advisor, Scott, was excellent. I was always able to keep in touch with him and be enrolled in a new set of courses after completion of the graded ones. I believed that each of my classes were challenging and prepared me for... Disappointed due to no support, no good advice from counselor. No flexible schedules for adult as they claimed. Everything is an essay the lazy way to teach and is not the professors fault is the university curriculum. Robotic seminars with no time to address anything. Inefficient discussion basically another essay. Deadlines catered to full time student not working adults.

I am in my final semester at SNHU for an MS degree. I personally have found my experience with SNHU to be very positive. I can't speak to the Bachelor's online programs, but the Masters so far has been great. I think some of the people leaving negative comments might be having difficulties adjusting to the form of work. At least in the Masters programs, you are provided with all the information that you need, but not information on how to think. That portion, and the research associated is on you... Read More

WGU has been the best choice I have made for my Bachelor's and Master's degree. The Mentors and course instructors are better than any on-site instructors I have had exposure to at other institutions. I only would say their financial aid department can be better. It takes them 3-4 months to get financial aid award letter despite submitting everything on time. They do NOT understand that the award letter is essential to make financial decisions for the student and was not helpful when I reached out.... Read More

What a great experience and such great professors! My best advice is to understand that you get what you give when going to school online. I was a student with a disability, and they helped me 100% of the way if I had questions or needed a leave. No, it was not easy, but to me, that's what makes it a good school! I graduated with a 3.9 GPA, and I have never been prouder of myself! Thank you to all the staff that helped along the way.

Overall WGU was great and I will always be a nightowl. However it is not a 5 star review for a couple of reasons, in the masters program that I took you cannot add specialization or certificates to the degree! The other reason I'm downgrading a star is that with 2 classes left they changed the capstone of my program which created unnecessary stress of obtaining passed courses for the task in the capstone. Had they made the changes earlier in my completion the stress and frantic emails wouldn't have... Read More

I completed my master's degree in executive leadership at Liberty University in 18 months. I reviewed numerous graduate programs before I selected Liberty University. The staff at Liberty were extremely helpful and the classes were relevant to the current career market. I enjoyed my classes and the professors. They offer a huge discount for prior military and a first responder discount. If you are considering earning your college degree, I would highly recommend Liberty University. Do not be nervous... This school is a very conservative Christian school. The graduate program they offer requires a lot of time. It is very difficult to work study and have any family time at all. They advertise that they will allow previous credits to transfer. However, this is not true. I myself had to retake three classes 8 had taken previously at another grad school. And yes the grad school was accredited. I felt as if I learned how to write papers really well but did not gain any knowledge that I could apply in... Read More

Outstanding school and program for the working professional trying to move up to executive, training or director level. Brandman faculty and staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The few administrative issues with schedule and finance were worked out in no time. The classes are challenging and beneficial with a logical schedule that culminates in your final assignment. My capstone class is a few weeks away and look forward to finishing this useful and exceptional program.

After several months of searching and of course narrowing my options, I chose Regent University for my graduate studies. They offered a unique program, Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development Consulting. The school is renown for their research and worldwide leadership of Servant Leadership, and this is evident in the curriculum. The online courses are not taught by adjunct professors, but by full time professors and program directors, and I will add they are quite... Read More

The University of Florida offers an MSN degree, as well as many other graduate programs completely online and when the University markets that they cater to the working student, they really mean it. The coursework is set up to where you are taking one course at a time and the courses are around 7 weeks long. The most impressive quality I've experienced is the workload is truly manageable alongside my very busy nurse management position. I never felt that I was under too much pressure or time constraints.... Read More

Waldorf is Awesome! I earned my undergraduate degree here then got accepted into Southeastern Oklahoma State’s MBA program, but after a semester I came back to Waldorf. The professors are all great, give constructive feedback, and really want you to learn and succeed. The online platform is very user/friendly and never had any technical issues. The tuition is really fair compared to many other schools. I recommend this to any and all. Go Warriors!

I returned to school to pursue my Master's degree after many years. I was not sure what to expect because I had been out of school for so long. To my delight, my experience was nothing less than exceptional. From the very beginning with admissions, to my academic advisor (MK), to each professor, I was met with kindness, quality, and care. My questions were answered in little to no turn-around time. Everyone was incredibly helpful and pleasant. The quality of education is excellent and so pertinent... Read More

Doing the OL graduate online program was the best decision I ever made. As a veteran, I was grateful that the post 9/11 transferred well with this school. I did not pay a dime. The VA paid the school directly without fail. My adviser at the time, was amazing. He checked in with me weekly and answered all of my questions with urgency. He ordered/mailed my course books and signed me up for every class. I never had to stress about any of that stuff. It was the most relaxing experience. My teachers were... Read More

My review is for the College of Business and Economics. I found my online courses challenging and aligned with the project management body of knowledge. Of the 9 courses I had to take, only 3 courses required a lot of case study analysis (2-4 pages APA style paper). There was one course that required a final 10-pages APA style paper. The entire curriculum isnt just reading and writing papers. I applied what I learned in the PM courses with projects at work. Additionally, Regis gave us the opportunities... Read More

Grand Canyon University is a Christian faith based school with outstanding professor's who care about their students. The staff who helped with my enrollment was extremely helpful and walked me through each step of the process. They would call me to ensure I was doing ok and to see if I needed anything from them. GCU staff called me on my first day of class just to see if everything was working out. A few days before my class began I was called by GCU to do a walk through of their online program... Read More

My advisors, instructors, and the Veteran' Affairs office are always available to help me! UIW also discounts tuition to match tuition assistance for active duty personnel, which makes this an even more amazing opportunity. I am very happy with the practicality and applicable nature of the MSODL degree program. The course materials and discussions have helped me to develop, both professionally and personally; I have also made many connections in the OD field.
