Degree: Educational Leadership

Overall, Arkansas State provided me with a wonderful, affordable (each credit hour is $288) educational experience and I was able to earn my M.S.E. in Educational Leadership in two years. Most of the classes are very informative and the professors understand that students are very busy as professionals and therefore, the coursework is not overbearing. I would highly recommend this program to any educator interested in getting their administrative degree.

This college program gave me the flexibility to acquire a quality education. The curriculum exposed me to real life situations that I applied to my administrative role at the school I served. My career and knowledge expanded tremendously after attending this program. Educational leadership entails details that set foundations of academic success.

Arkansas State University offers a great online program! I chose ASU because of the informative online courses that are offered by the professors. The online courses allow you to move at your own pace, but still interact with colleagues who are taking the class as well. I would definitely recommend ASU to any student pursuing their Master's Degree.

Degree: Educational Leadership

As a single mom working full-time as a teacher, I need a program that is flexible, holds great potential for career growth, and is challenging enough to engage me. ASU works well in all of these capacities. I have felt academically fulfilled, which was a concern with online programs. ASUs courses were engaging and pushed me enough to keep me engaged without overwhelming me with requirements that prevent me from still being able to invest in my own child and my career as a teacher (lesson prep and... The online M.S.E. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University has significantly helped me as a current high school social studies teacher. The skills and knowledge that I have learned are used on a daily basis in my classroom and are helping make positive change in my student's lives. As a teacher, I know that my students are the future of this country. Therefore, the best way to make sure that they are successful is to constantly improve my expertise and pedagogy as a teacher.

Professors are not accessible, but academic assistants do provide adequate assistance. Work is at your own pace with appropriate deadlines.

The Educational Leadership online graduate program at Arkansas State University is a challenging program that prepares its students for the duties of a school principal. The professors have experience and are competent. The workload is pretty heavy but full of worthwhile readings and assignments. The program is affordable, comparatively. The online program used is overall good, though does bring occasional technology frustrations.
