My bachelors degree definitely prepared me for my job. Compared to the local community colleges ball states program provided top notch excellence and professionalism . The college provided ample educational material and in the meantime had multiple social activities and resources to thoroughly enjoy my time there. Ball State is affordable and the Master's of Nurse Practitioner is completely online. This helps with my goals because I work as a full time nurse at a hospital. A con specifically to this Master's program is trying to find preceptors for clinical. The Indianapolis area is becoming very saturated with students and not enough preceptors.

The only con is that it is extremely reliant on the student's desire to succeed. The faculty won't "hold your hand" along the way. They are extremely helpful when they are contacted. The student must be... Read More
