It's a very challenging program, but it's one of the best PT schools in the nation. Faculty and staff are all top notch and very intelligent. It is one of the most mentally draining programs, the shear volume of information is beyond anything I could have phathomed but at the end of the day I'm recieving one of the best educations in the country. BU's Doctorate of Physical Therapy is very challenging, but I feel that the curriculum is taught in such a way that helps us develop into the best healthcare providers we can be. Current literature and practices are introduced and taught, and almost all of our professors are still practicing and thus constantly bring real-life situations to our attention.

This program is one of the best in the area for earning a doctorate of physical therapy. I am receiving and incredible education but the amount that I need to pay in order to get it is excessive. There are not many scholarship opportunities for graduate students at BU and I am unsure as to how I am going to be able to afford the next two years.

The Physical Therapy program at Boston University is very challenging and requires many hours of studying. The labs and classes also take up many hours, so I found difficulty juggling social life with academic life. However, it is DEFINITELY worth it! The professors are amazing, and they include many top physical therapists in the country. I am very proud to be in this program.

Pros: The program is excellent. Great faculty, very helpful if you need anything. The classes are challenging but manageable Lots of opportunity to get involved with the school or community. Students are very friendly, easy to form study groups. The school has hundreds of clinical sites across the country for students to go. This program is extremely competitive; however, there is a lot of coursework, so any slacking would be detrimental to your grade.
