I enjoyed the courses and found them highly relevant to my work; however, the dissertation/capstone experience was criminal. One committee member continually exceeded the ten day contractual review period and offered only two reviews during a five month period before approving it conditionally (and neglected to list the conditions). I am saddened and angry and feel powerless without recourse.

I rate as excellent! I thought very much a challenge and appreciated the readings and writing assignments. What was amazing was how the assignments ended up often supportive of my future dissertation writing. Being a full-time teacher there were times I had to put dissertation writing on hold for a fewweeks and my mentor was very supportive. I did not use financial services and wrote personal checks. The staff does not know enough to tell you how to write a dissertation. When you have a problem there is no one to solve it. This school is only interested in your money. I would not recommend Capella to anyone. I owe $190,000 because they changed the program and wouldn't allow me to finish under the plan that I started. Capella was a costly mistake! Hello, In my opinion, I could not have chosen a better institution of higher learning to earn my advanced degree. I am very pleased with my choice of Capella University for online studies as a doctoral student. Not only is Capella University regionally accredited, but it's recognized as a quality institution over other online institutions. I found the enrollment team to be courtesy, helpful, and timely when I initially sought to enroll. Outstanding and challenging program. I received my MSN from a challenging online University and was well prepared for the structure of Capella. The instructors, financial aid, mentors, and IT are responsive and available and the technology assists in the learning process.
